How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Closed out on spain for -2 ticks - have tended to notice favs who arent ahead at ther interval drift during the break.
Also, weather has turned awful and every chance it will stay 0-0, though may still back Spain in second half

Spain gone from 2.26 to 2.40 in the first 5 mins of half time - has any one else noticed favs failing to lead drifting at half time?

Steve, it depends what price they are coming into half time. The market tends to adjust to the new half if there is any imbalance.
There is a bit of an oddity at the end of the first half but I can't tell you in this case as I didn't research the match before the off.

That was funny. The Swiss qualify and as soon as the ref blew his Whistle all the Swiss players ran as fast as they could for the safety of the tunnel. Hilarious.

2m bet on a 40sec (on my pc) delayed feed. Unbelievable LOL!
Anyone know where betfair get their live feed from. This could be a real moneyspinner if you had live pictures

Hi Steve, Sorry, I was out at the accountants this morning, lunch as well then golf this afternoon. Lovely day for it. Ruined my round with a couple of double bogeys but not too bad otherwise. The highlight, a 270 yard drive right on to the green after a poor tee shot on the fifth. If only I could do that every hole I'd be famous. I'll live on that one for a few years.
I'll be catching up on emails in the morning. Can you resend also to support@optic.ltd.uk then more than one person can pick it up and deal with in.

Re, delayed feed....Why don't we get together and go to the next betfair live feed game and trade of the mugs who are prepared to use the delayed pictures.
Could prove to be a very profitable venture :-)
