Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

bhunt,

it seems that just the 2 icon is missing if you click where it should be it will bring up the level 2 screen - James is taking a look at getting these to show for you correctly,

Getting a blank grey panel when reqesting prices for different profolios via Stockwatch. Is this the same problem as yesterday (with Java) and how was it resolved?

mgc2np,

Mike,

We put in a fix to help out those with a java conflict yesterday, which has fixed that problem. Is this happening when you select to move between different stockwatches using the drop down box at the bottom left of the screen. can you initially see the stockwatch screen and then this only happens when you try to switch.

Can you try restarting yoru machine to see if this helps?

Ian
It's happening on both initial selection and also when moving to a 2nd portfolio.
I had the same problem yesterday morning and it was working OK in the afternoon, following your Java fix.
Will try restarting later (- I've got some printing going on in another session)

Mike,

Let me know what happens after the resart of the machine, as a permanent fix went in last night which solved yesterdays issue.

Restart has resolved the problem!
My PC is hibernated rather than closed down overnight. Does that mean it somehow missed your permanent fix when "rewakened" this morning?

Mike,

Essentially yes, you would have needed a new session to access the new version we put in, whihc is why the close down resolved it.

bhunt,

we have now put the level 2 icons back on stockwatch. You will need to close all of your moneyam browsers and then go back in and you shoudl then be up and running as normal

Moving around L2 pages is again extremely slow.

Am I experiencing the effects of heavy useage or could it be something else?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 14 Jun 2007 08:12 - 5836 of 7315

Chea,

We just did a restart on one of our services which caused the slowness - it shoudl be back up to speed for you now,

Ian

Chea - 14 Jun 2007 08:12 - 5837 of 7315

It does seem to be the first 10-mins or so.

Chea - 14 Jun 2007 08:13 - 5838 of 7315

Ian,

Thanks.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 14 Jun 2007 08:13 - 5839 of 7315

Chea,

Coincidental - it was a restart from us which caused a little slowness there

I'm getting yesterday's charts!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 14 Jun 2007 08:48 - 5841 of 7315

britshare,

which charts is this on is it basic, custom charts, intradys charts etc.

On intraday charts I am seeing todays graph - if you are looking at the basic or custom charts can you make sure you have the 'plot todays intraday data' selected.
