Well done dotel, Socks & Vasey.

I spent 600 of my pot, (well you can't take it - so why not!) so you all will be catching me up :-)

Golddog - 08 May 2004 19:45 - 5837 of 23498

dotel, I hope you know that the winner must dance naked on the Cafe bar. Little woman was very good at it!

Pint of Bods then i'm off for a drink?
;-)

vasey - 08 May 2004 20:05 - 5838 of 23498

Well, I'm amazed.....! Given my ability to pick successful shares recently, I half-expected Polar Bear to say it was too cold to race and to hear that he was staying in his horse box and watching the race on telly! Definitely a cause for a celebratory glass of wine.....

Thanks for organizing it, jeffmack.

Socrates - 08 May 2004 21:19 - 5839 of 23498

I was quite happy with Polar Bear, I knew he'd be all white!

vasey - 08 May 2004 22:42 - 5840 of 23498

Oh, Socks! That's terrible..... Funny, but terrible!

little willie - 08 May 2004 22:52 - 5841 of 23498

Socs..s'pose you thought you'd make a mint from him.

dotel - 09 May 2004 00:52 - 5842 of 23498

I think I should confer with little woman on this one, gd ;)

little woman! Help!

Dancing naked...no probs
On the bar...will it hurt?

Where's MM and the Mumms Napa when you need him?

Anyway, M would never forgive me ;)

Martini - 09 May 2004 01:24 - 5843 of 23498

Ahh all becomes clear now :)

jeffmack - 09 May 2004 08:15 - 5844 of 23498

I'm off to the Antique fair at Ardingly. CU later

Socrates - 09 May 2004 09:37 - 5845 of 23498

little willie
No, it was horse racing, not polo.

Vasey,
Sorry, couldn't resist it, I'm quite content with 3rd place but would have prefurred fur'st.

Crocodile - 09 May 2004 12:46 - 5846 of 23498

Beleated thanks for all the 'Happy Birthday' posts and the Birthday cake. Vasey posted me a slice and it was excellent!
I hope to back on the BB far more in the near future so save me the chair thats closest to the bar.
All the best
D.

Golddog - 09 May 2004 17:46 - 5847 of 23498

Poochy: Fancy a game of hide & seek Ghosty?
Ghosty: Yeah sure!
Poochy: Right you hide and i will count to 10
Ghosty: Ok you will never find me.
Poochy: 1,2,3.....
Ghosty: i'm ready
Poochy: .....9,10 coming ready or not!

Where the bloody hell is Ghosty?

I give up and will have a drinky.

little willie - 09 May 2004 20:34 - 5848 of 23498

He's in the sherry glass's Poochy!!

Socs...Agh..all now makes nonsense...

Socrates - 09 May 2004 21:17 - 5849 of 23498

Nonsense, Oh good that's alright then. Just so that you understand my horse selection skills are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Golddog - 09 May 2004 21:43 - 5850 of 23498

I've looked there little willie but only found sherry! I also looked in the trifle and only found sherry also. How is Sweet Revenge coming along?

Socks, I have never tried your sherry trifle before, and tonights the night.

Socrates - 09 May 2004 22:13 - 5851 of 23498

GD
Don't eat too much and drive afterwards if you are not used to my sherry trifle, you might find it just a touch heavy on the sherry and a touch light on the trifle.
