CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

SueHelen - 26 Nov 2003 12:51 - 585 of 1924

Yes that is right littlejohn! Over that one would be looking at paying 0.5-1 pence premium.

Cannot buy more than one can sell. MMs just after stock today.

Hi Zissler, all trades are delayed buy 2 hours, so sometimes they go in the wrong column. So far we have a 120,000 buy at 18 pence, 100,000 buy at 18.5 pence and a 50,000 buy at 19.5 pence which can be identified by looking at the intraday graph.

I will post my views tonight about that. I hope that is ok. I don't see any downside from here that is for sure.

A 50,000 buy has been reported at 19.75 pence too.

I have decided to stick all my current spare cash this morning into CWV cos i know from experience that they will have sales executives out ( globally )everyday of the week doing demonstrations. clearly it's a great product as it got rave reviews so if i were selling it, i would be quoting all of these prestigious places that have bought it . It's a soft sell really !!! It's windows based and apparently really simple to use. Little re training required ( always imoportant to keep your traders at their desks as thats how money is made.
Thats why i think it will have massive appeal and have you noticed the volumes of trade in America, they have taken off. That means shed loads of money into the trading houses and therefore lots of money freed up to upgrade and this is the time to do it at the front end of a recovery. These could do 1 by the Spring.

Just looking to find my trade from this morning ie a buy of 25,000 at 17.5p around 9.15am and all there is at 11.05am is a sell - either a coincidence or its mine listed incorrectly as a sell....

taken from web site just to back-up what sue said in post 589....

ProphetX, priced typically at 200 per month, is a professional real-time market display and analysis product for commodity traders which has been developed by US company DTN Market Access. It has already established itself as a popular product in the USA, with over 3,000 terminals sold.

The ProphetX system combines live market data, powerful analytical tools, as well as up-to-the minute news. ProphetX can be internet-delivered or installed on a firms network. And because it has been developed for use on standard Microsoft platforms, users are already familiar with the on-screen environment. Moreover, the system can be accessed remotely, allowing it to be used when traders are away from their desks.

CMS estimates the target market for ProphetX to be worth over two hundred million pounds per annum in Europe. CMS will receive a significant percentage of annual revenues from UK ProphetX sales reflecting its investment in the sales, marketing and customer support operations in the UK.

Just phoned CMS to get a feel of when an announcement is due - apparently not this week, but definitely next month - Sue, what kind of an announcement are you anticipating? Further new contract wins? Because am I right in saying the results were in September and so nothing due on that front for a while?
Regards
Anna

SueHelen - 26 Nov 2003 15:39 - 596 of 1924

Hi Anna,

I am expecting a bullish trading statement with new licences for Prophet X to be announced (atleast two). Along with the fundraising announcement.

I you look at their last results there will be more annoucements as we approach the year end.

Sue.

SueHelen - 26 Nov 2003 15:40 - 597 of 1924

Well to me the price seems to have found a new base here and the price shouldn't drift any lower. The upwards movement should continue tomorrow.

Sue.

SueHelen - 26 Nov 2003 15:41 - 598 of 1924

In addition Anna, along with these announcements a note will be out by Corporate Synergy which I think will be very bullish and have a strong buy rating.

Sue.

SueHelen - 26 Nov 2003 15:42 - 599 of 1924

The fundraising is for US expansion so we could see some of good news about that too.

Sue.

SueHelen - 26 Nov 2003 15:45 - 600 of 1924

Thanks for checking up when the announcements could be due Anna.

Kind Regards,

Sue.

jfletendre - 26 Nov 2003 16:08 - 601 of 1924

Thanks for your replies Sue and you're very welcome. Seems I have to make the decision today as to buying the balance of 75,000 shares at the higher price - as you said, the price seems to have stabilized now....

SueHelen - 26 Nov 2003 16:19 - 602 of 1924

Yes it has Anna which is very encouraging indeed. A base has been formed at this price with the real spread still at 17.5-18.5 pence. MMs still paying a premium for stock. They are accumalating for the next few days.

Best Wishes,

Sue.

xmortal - 26 Nov 2003 16:36 - 603 of 1924

Only joined MoneyAm following the demise of Nothing-Ventured.com. Tended not to follow BBs until now.

Big thanks for your advice and guidance on CWV so far. Have bought in 3 times since following your thread.

Written my own share analysis software to monitor shares. From criteria I use CWV has been the top performing share for the last 8 days out of 13. But the 14 day RSI is now showing CWV to be over-bought and might be one reason why we have not seen the expected movement northwards.

Don't think is too serious, looks like we will finish today at a mid-price of 17.75, yesterday was 18.37. Based on previous trends might even slip back to just below 17.0, before it turns north again. My opinion, of course.

Am staying in for the ride.
