Planestation (Ex Wiggins Group plc) (PTG)

Socrates - 10 Jan 2004 10:34

Time now for all us Wiggins watchers to move with the times and start using Planestation, the new company identity. The name Wiggins Group plc has now disappeared from the database at Companies House and Planestation is now listed on the LSE website.

So fellow travellers, forget Wiggins, the name of the game is now PLANESTATION. Lets hope it goes like an express train.

Must get a magnifier can't quite make out the details on these micro dots apple.
Good finish to the day, wouldn't be surprised if the weekend press picked up on the PTG progress.

Thanks but all my PTG shares are in an ISA so no tax to pay :-)

Can't do that with warrants.

I kept it simple, it's not a microdot, it's just a single point :-)

Just for the sake of something to do I made a spreadsheet and plotted how many flights out of Manston were required on a daily basis for EUjet to meet its full timetable.

It works out at 11 departures per day on weekdays and 13 each Saturday and Sunday. The full programme will not operate until December but in a full year, allowing 60 pax per flight would produce approx 252,000 passengers. That is only going out and I suppose most would want to come back so could equate to just over 500,000.

Thanks for the figures Socrates

BTW

Here's a reminder of how our opinions started out on this one :-)

1st Opinions

Socrates brought PTG to the attention of many people on this site before Shares Mag did.

Not quite opto - slight technical hitch with my cut and paste. Just conveying RNS news that Artemis Fund Managers purchased 107,365,872 PTG yesterday!

IF anyone is interested in the warrants, then this site is extremely useful at valuing them. Try inputing various ordinary share prices from the current 7p upwards. It does not seem to accept anything above 11p though. The results are very interesting.

Another institution buying in with 3.5%. Also some hefty sales today - volumes still very encouraging but get the feeling this may need to take a break soon and consolidate for a bit.

Orson Carter - 14 Jun 2004 11:06 - 598 of 1086

Are they an "insitution" I wonder? Or a trading outfit with cargo to ship?

Holding but watching carefully at this 7p-ish bid watershed.

Fundamentalist - 14 Jun 2004 11:11 - 599 of 1086

Just relooked Orson

It appears they are a mexican distribution company!!!

Orson Carter - 14 Jun 2004 11:17 - 600 of 1086

Interesting, Fundie - with the BIP under construction maybe there is some food
produce involvement. Maybe thats why they have taken a "steak" (Sorry).

Fundamentalist - 14 Jun 2004 12:08 - 601 of 1086

Spread now at 9% - MM look like they need some shares and are shaking the tree. Some profit taking bound to happen.

apple - 14 Jun 2004 12:50 - 602 of 1086

Spread suddenly widens, something brewing!

apple - 15 Jun 2004 12:37 - 603 of 1086

Hmmmmmm,

TWO 3Million crossing trades.

optomistic - 15 Jun 2004 15:51 - 604 of 1086

6.4p bid 7p offer yet all the trades are inside these figures. Anyone got an explanation for this?
