THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Ball Lightning.

Driver, you must have had a crystal ball. Been having a flying lesson today and look at the image you posted!!!
Took a microlight over Donny to explore the terrain for the SEO bash. Looks good, except for the vomit splashes etc. from my aerobatic adventures!!!

Sounds a bit to daring for me I prefer two wheels than none.

hewittalan6 - 05 Jul 2005 17:28 - 594 of 81564

It was great. What an experience. Our Lass had the life policies ready, just in case. You really should try it when you go for the SEO bash!!!!
Remember, learner pilots, like shares, can fall as well as plummet!!

How can you fly a micro light like the one below?

hewittalan6 - 05 Jul 2005 17:44 - 596 of 81564

Well, according to Einstein, there is an equivalency between mass and energy. Light is a form of energy and so must have mass. If we convert the energy emitted from the light in a string of photons, to mass then, according to the famous E=mc2 formula (I think thats right, though Einstein was dyslexic - true) and the system of jet propulsion designed by Sir Frank Whittle, we should be able to emit sufficient energy / matter to ensure that anyone flying one of these above 25 feet altitude, should end their days in a brief, crunchy splash.

You just sit on it.

hewittalan6 - 05 Jul 2005 17:45 - 598 of 81564

No, Nope. It's definitely the Missus that sits on small battery operated items!!!

driver - 05 Jul 2005 17:48 - 599 of 81564

Or sit in it.

driver - 05 Jul 2005 17:50 - 600 of 81564

You could just talk into it.

jimmy b - 05 Jul 2005 17:50 - 601 of 81564

Alan you've been thinking to much. It's not good for you.

driver - 05 Jul 2005 17:51 - 602 of 81564

This looks more like it.

jimmy b - 05 Jul 2005 17:52 - 603 of 81564

You'll end up looking like this...

driver - 05 Jul 2005 17:53 - 604 of 81564

I think I will give it a miss today.
