Remember all you punters to place your bets online with SBT, much BETter than traditional bookies (particularly for shareholders like Me).

stockbunny - 10 May 2004 13:14 - 5858 of 23498

Good Lunchtime People!
How are we all today?
The sun's attempting to make an appearance here, hopefully it
can bring a little more warmth to the very chilly FTSE today!
A glass of Cab Sauv' and a tuna sandwich for the bunny and one of
GD's chocolate bun thingies please.....

little willie - 10 May 2004 13:28 - 5859 of 23498

Gold Pup..Sweet Revenge sends you her 'winnies'& 'neighs' and says if your ever cocking your leg in her paddock to go over and have a chat.

She's progressing nicely.

AND THAT'S A DAMN SIGHT MORE THAN THE MARKET IS UNLESS YOU'RE A SHORTER!!!!!!

Sea of Red & Heartbreak today unfortunately but best of British to all.

ps. and its a cloudy day here with only 25 degrees.

stockbunny - 10 May 2004 14:46 - 5860 of 23498

Oh damn! Only 25 degrees.....Wanna swop??
(about 18 degs I think and equally cloudy)
Give sweet revenge a carrot from me!!

stockbunny - 10 May 2004 16:25 - 5861 of 23498

Ok I've turned off the FTSE and DOW red warning lights and sirens
over the bar as they've flashed so much today I'm worried about GD's
electric bill, plus we were starting to attract 'Trekkies' who thought
a Star Trek convention was on in here and the bridge was on red-alert.

As its been a bitch of a day (I'm female so I can say that!)
there's comfort food on the bar for anyone who needs some....
Fresh sherry trifle
Chocolate buns a-la G.D.
Strawberry gateaux
Run and raisin sponge with custard
and lastly sticky toffee pudding also available with custard.
On rotten 'red' days cooking/eating is a great therapy!!!

optomistic - 10 May 2004 16:35 - 5862 of 23498

Bunny your menus are delish but will there be enough room for us all in the cafe with our new found 'fuller figures'!!

jj50 - 10 May 2004 16:46 - 5863 of 23498

Stockbunny, your menu sounds wonderful and comfort eating is the only way to go. However, it is too hot here for sticky toffee pudding. Perhaps a red drink to match the colour of the day - campari, soda and a dash of ice ... and a few cashews, please. I am back out into the sun but opto is definitely right about that "fuller figure". Prepare for a busy evening, there will be a few in to console themselves tonight!

snoball - 10 May 2004 17:33 - 5864 of 23498

No doughnuts?

Socrates - 10 May 2004 18:00 - 5865 of 23498

Somebody mention doughnuts?

I'll have a Boeing 747 load of Krispy Kreme doughnuts flown in, any particular flavour before it sets off?

Socrates - 10 May 2004 18:20 - 5866 of 23498

I don't follow the DOW much myself, not having an interest, but I note that after today's sea of red it has already recovered nearly half of it's early losses. It was down 180 at one point and is currently at -93. If it keeps up we might see a bit of recovery on the FTSE tomorrow, I hope.

Pass the sherry trifle please, I'll have a pint, or two.

optomistic - 10 May 2004 18:35 - 5867 of 23498

Socs are the doughnuts being flown in to Manston.
jj50 where are you getting so hot? envious opto!!

Socrates - 10 May 2004 19:03 - 5868 of 23498

optomistic
It has to be Manston. It's the only place I know where a Jumbo can be off-loaded in 25 minutes.

vasey - 10 May 2004 19:06 - 5869 of 23498

Yeah? Round here they can strip out the contents of a family car in about 1 min. You'd need more than one teenager to do a whole jumbo in 25 mins...

Golddog - 10 May 2004 19:38 - 5870 of 23498

Don't bend over Hightone! only i'm right behind you!!

What a lovely sea of red today. Red sky at night traders delight.

Burger & chips please oh and a Boddies.
