Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

That is like looking for a human bean.

One of my very few friends related the latter to me a confusion he ha when he was v.young.

He was partially deaf.

Perhaps, like the tanker, turning into a tinker.

Haystack,
All the above shows that War and fighting is bad and should be avoided.

They only way to do this is to act like human and negotiate.

Animals fight because they cannot talk to inform each other about their opinion, compromises, and/or convince each other.

I always thought I was an animal.

My wife says I am still one.

Many animals sort themselves by finding a pecking order, or cannibalising their own or moving out of harm's way.

Bit more difficult in a modern society.

Etc........

Cynic,

"fred is a hen-pecked mouse - as recently discovered by david attenborough in a extinct volcano in PG"

I have always been able to scratch a living, having learn't to duck and dive early in my marriage.

You would be surprised where I sometimes turn or end up!

So am I.

Jerusalem Post today

Former kidnapped soldier Gilad Schalit's father Noam said Wednesday that if he was Palestinian he would try to kidnap IDF soldiers.

Schalit, who is running for a Knesset seat with the Labor Party, paraphrased former Labor leader Ehud Barak, who shocked many people when he told anti-Israel activist Gideon Levy in a 1998 interview that if he were Palestinian, he would have joined a terrorist organization.

“We also kidnapped British soldiers when we were fighting for our freedom,” Schalit said in an interview with Channel 10, referring to pre-state Zionist paramilitary organizations during the British mandate.

Asked if he would be in favor of negotiating with Hamas, he said “I am in favor of speaking to anyone who wants to talk to us."
