wilbs - 07 Jul 2004 19:47

Same here stan , , Frampton we could be in for some turbulance ,i am going to fasten my seat belt .. Is this plant going to go bust ?? i don't think so and i'm not cutting my losses..I will be dissapointed if the company don't put out some kind of statement should the SP take a knock .

Frampton - 17 Oct 2005 08:47 - 593 of 1184

Stan, I don't rate what the Daily Mail says, and I wouldn't be cutting my losses -as at this price I don't have any. I'm more concerned that once the the price has dropped the shorters can get stuck in and take it down to silly prices. That would suit me fine if I had money to top up, unfotunately I'm loaded up to the gunnels at the moment. So far it seems to be recovering well, as long as we stay above 140 at close I'm happy.
Jimmy, I've held this share since late 2004 and I've got used to needing the seatbelt! I very much doubt they will go bust as well, but there's always that little niggling worry I could be wrong. I'm not sure they will put out a statement if we were to drop, but then again maybe they have learned from past mistakes.
It looks like i might have missed out on a fantastic buying opportunity this morning - 136. If only I had more funds!

Looking ok so far Frampton..

stockdog - 17 Oct 2005 09:00 - 595 of 1184

Having sworn to myself yesterday I would sell if it fell below 140p, I missed this mornings opening dip and so failed to follow my own advice. Seeing the buyers come in, it does look as though 140ish is a quite determined level of support just now. I think Frampto's using the eod value has a lot to recommend it to avoid the intraday volatility of this share stopping you out prematurely.

So I'm holding at 139.5p currently - till the eod tells us where we have got to.

I've been out since 9.00, secure in the knowledge the share price was recovering. It seems I was wrong. An automatic stop loss kicked in and sold 1/3 my holding, still holding the rest for the time being. Is the drop shorters and stop losses or is there some other reason? It seems I was wrong that 136 was a good buying opportunity, glad I missed it. I imagine you've sold out now stockdog or are you still holding out? Where is the bottom now?

stockdog - 17 Oct 2005 16:57 - 597 of 1184

sold out at 132 odd later in the morning - can't see any chart support before 100p - unless they start production soon with a big impressive announcement.

Iv'e stayed in , i would normally have stopped out by now,but i'm banking on production starting before xmas ,it may,,it may not, who knows ,but they do need to put out some kind of a statement..
It's funny that nothing has changed since the EGM ,if it was going to collapse ,why not then ??one journalist in the mail said sell and down we go,, now are the shorters going to move in big time or is this the bottom ??

Frampton - 18 Oct 2005 08:06 - 599 of 1184

A more positive opening then. I wish the company would be more forth coming on news.

Frampton - 18 Oct 2005 09:44 - 600 of 1184

It seems I spoke too soon, down we go. I wouldn't mind a very quick dip to 120, so I can buy more shares than I sold yesterday, than a very strong bounce to 2 and beyond. LOL

jimmy b - 18 Oct 2005 12:39 - 601 of 1184

Whoops back up we go ,Frampton ,i've held firm on these ,hope i'm going to be right..

Frampton - 18 Oct 2005 12:50 - 602 of 1184

Jimmy, I am still holding quite a few as I only sold a third. I don't mind if I have to buy them back at a higher price, I'd rather get back to a more comfortable trading range. I did have a slight fear some people KNEW bad news was coming, but as I said yesterday I think it was more likely shorters taking advantage of the support breaking.

myownmoney - 18 Oct 2005 14:13 - 603 of 1184

There is only one way for BFC shares, that is up, just wait till the news breaks that production has started.

I agree with Framton, they are a good "hold."

jimmy b - 18 Oct 2005 16:33 - 604 of 1184

That's a better day than i thought we were going to have Frampton , just need that announcement saying the commissioning is complete and we will be starting production on November 5th .. Oh well i can dream .. :-)

Frampton - 18 Oct 2005 16:50 - 605 of 1184

I like that dream! If they would just say something reassuring I would feel happy to put the rest of my money back in. Still waiting to see where its going next. It's a bit more exciting than having your money in the building society anyway!

jimmy b - 18 Oct 2005 16:56 - 606 of 1184

Framton ,that has to be the understatement of the year !!! + i don't need this kind of excitement...

Frampton - 18 Oct 2005 17:17 - 607 of 1184

I don't know, I kinda like rollercoaster shares, I always seem to end up in them anyway. Although I have to admit this one hasn't done my nerves too much good the past few days. It did help me to relax a little reducing my exposure, but this is still my biggest shareholding, so it would be nice if we just have a gradual rise from now on, until the big spike up on news of production. November 5th does sound good...
Just a thought, where will the share price be if they don't update us till Dec 31st? I'm not sure my nerves could cope with that.

Frampton - 19 Oct 2005 15:14 - 608 of 1184

Considering the state of the market Jimmy, these seem to be holding up very well.

jimmy b - 19 Oct 2005 15:24 - 609 of 1184

That's what i have been thinking all day Frampton, Why i wonder ? anyway i'm not complaining ..

Frampton - 19 Oct 2005 17:13 - 610 of 1184

Nice finish. I wonder if we'll be visiting the 130s again, or have we seen the bottom?

jimmy b - 20 Oct 2005 21:15 - 611 of 1184

Still holding steady Frampton . Come on make that announcement , we are up and ready to go ...
