Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Ian

Could you look at the charts section please. Powerflute (POWR) - a chart appears on the basic charts section but not the intra day - instead there is a message 'POWR not found!'

Many thanks

Andrew

Level 2 on BA seem to have gone wonky - slow updating and canceling orders.

Geoff(MoneyAM) - 26 Jun 2007 15:10 - 5924 of 7315

hello isaacs,

there does appear to be a lot of orders going through at the moment.

we will look into it.

best regards,

geoff

Thanks Ian. Sorry wasn't paying attention. There were some incorrect orders showing but then market moved away from them.

while things are quiet can i explain a problem i have been having. every day around 3.45pm i find my stockwatch failing to find the applet and the page showing only part of the stockwatch and stalled.

any ideas Ian
thought the compuer was overheating but have cleaned out the fan and heat sink and still getting the same problem

i also wondered at that time of the day if you are chucking off those not paying directly for stockwatch (i just get the mag)

maddoctor
p.s. logging in and out does not fix it , i have to turn off the machine

IanT(MoneyAM) - 03 Jul 2007 12:04 - 5938 of 7315

maddoctor,

I cannot think of any thing at this end which may be doing this, and as we monitor the front end view here as a user would see it (i.e. viewing stockwatch etc.), I have not personally seen anything like that here.

Possible causes could include some sort of firewall conflict, and it may also be wise to make sure you have the latest version of Java to see if this makes any difference.

If it happens for you today can you send me a screen shot of what you see when it happens please? (press the print screen button above your cursor keys and then paste into an E mail to ian@moneyam.com)
