THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

It would be Salmond as he would be the UK MP.

ExecLine - 28 Apr 2015 11:09 - 59273 of 81564

The saying, "It would serve them right" comes to mind.

Have to mention the terrible scenes from Nepal !....glad to see international help coming......helicopters are an absolute must in those regions .........

Dil - 28 Apr 2015 14:45 - 59275 of 81564

Milliband 4/6 , Cameron 11/8 to be next Prime Minister.

Chris Carson - 28 Apr 2015 14:49 - 59276 of 81564

No wonder the Indices have gone tiits up :0)

Stan - 28 Apr 2015 14:49 - 59277 of 81564

6/1 Burnley to stay up... Get your money on.

MaxK - 28 Apr 2015 14:50 - 59278 of 81564

The bean is odd's on?

Chris Carson - 28 Apr 2015 14:51 - 59279 of 81564

What are the odds for them to go down Stan?

Dil - 28 Apr 2015 14:52 - 59280 of 81564

Well that aint gonna happen is it Stan !

Might as well be 100/1 , you will still lose your money.

Stan - 28 Apr 2015 14:54 - 59281 of 81564

The "R" word and Burnley in the same sentence does not compute CC.

Stan - 28 Apr 2015 14:54 - 59282 of 81564

Oh Dil... ye of little faith.

Chris Carson - 28 Apr 2015 14:57 - 59283 of 81564

:0)

Stan - 28 Apr 2015 15:00 - 59284 of 81564

4 games left 12 pts + 26 = 38... job done can't see what the problem is.

Except maybe our recent inability to score goals -):

Dil - 28 Apr 2015 15:01 - 59285 of 81564

Lol Stan , don't think Chris has got much either.

See you next season.

Haystack - 28 Apr 2015 15:16 - 59286 of 81564

Odds for overall majority

Conservative 13/2
Labour 40/1

With the rise of SNP, it looks like no Labour majority for years to come.

Chris Carson - 28 Apr 2015 15:22 - 59287 of 81564

Every cloud then Hays :0)

MaxK - 28 Apr 2015 15:25 - 59288 of 81564

Not if the two of them get together.

Haystack - 28 Apr 2015 16:04 - 59289 of 81564

They may get together for a term, but there's are major differences to stop them joining up properly.

It looks like Labour will only get in with a coalition. That could be good for the Tories as the Labour/SNP combination is not going to suit the bulk of voters. In the future there could more easily be a Conservative majority. The next time there is a Tory majority there will be constuency boundary changes made that will make it tougher for Labour.

Haystack - 28 Apr 2015 16:39 - 59290 of 81564

The EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has backtracked today. He now says he wants a "fair deal" for the UK in Europe and does not rule out making minor changes to the EU treaties.

That is a boost for Cameron.

Fred1new - 28 Apr 2015 17:13 - 59291 of 81564

Haze,

I thought when you went to Central Office to Kowtow to your Losers they told you to talk about the roaring economic recovery.

What has happened has Cameron, has he run out of huff and puff. He seemed all steamed up about it a few days ago and was going to make it the centre of your campaign.

(Sorry meant leaders.) (I think.))

What a party of Winkers!
