Tanfield Group - any info out there? (TAN)

mr mike - 21 Jan 2004 13:49

Tanfield Group is the new company name of Comeleon. As I understand it, Comoleon was getting into trouble so TAN (paerent company?) took over. Since this has happened the share price has dropped by 0.25p each day for the last week or so (on average) and are now around the 3p mark with very little activity.

Does anyone know much about this company or previously held stock in Comeleon? There is virtually no info out there other than on the company website.

cheers

Mike

If it is, you're all going to have a lot of stab wounds :-(

I firmly believe that selling now would be nuts....perhaps I'm wrong but this company will soon be hardly able to cope with the number of orders coming it's way !

Elastoplast at the ready!

kimoldfield - 22 Apr 2008 13:05 - 597 of 1076

Could it possibly start to become a takeover target. Might be worth starting a rumour?! ;o)

kimoldfield Hope you are joking, if not , why buy ?

cynic - 22 Apr 2008 13:07 - 599 of 1076

so have i at 91.5

kimoldfield - 22 Apr 2008 13:07 - 600 of 1076

I'm a masochist 700202!

kimoldfield - 22 Apr 2008 13:10 - 601 of 1076

To be serious, I have faith in this company, it is doing all the right things and I feel that maybe there is just a touch of mischief making going on today. Don't know who to blame other than MM's, well that's a good place to start!

cynic - 22 Apr 2008 13:44 - 602 of 1076

as in many things, the point of entry is all too important if satisfaction is to be achieved!

kimoldfield - 22 Apr 2008 13:50 - 603 of 1076

Nice rebound..long may it continue !

scotinvestor - 24 Apr 2008 09:47 - 605 of 1076

this is going down further i'm afraid.....and market volatilty will knock it down more in short term.

surprised at u buying this at 108p cynic for one thats cynical on most shares.....even more surprised as u seem to buy cos it dropped in price early in day

i've done that before and been burnt

cynic - 24 Apr 2008 09:53 - 606 of 1076

i am an ace at calling it right but buying it wrong!

dealerdear - 24 Apr 2008 09:55 - 607 of 1076

rather tragically i can agree with that sentiment cynic

tipton11 - 24 Apr 2008 13:05 - 608 of 1076

two product coy ... both going great guns ... very cheap ... what more can you expect from an investment ? my only concern is that they seem to be going too fast while announcing many new models.

halifax - 24 Apr 2008 13:45 - 609 of 1076

Tipton you are right strains will develop if supply starts to exceed real sales.

dealerdear - 24 Apr 2008 15:59 - 610 of 1076

Poor old Tan. haven't got it but would love to see sp recover.

Fear it isn't going to happen short term.

halifax - 25 Apr 2008 13:44 - 611 of 1076

Apparently TAN is not able to achieve the forecast production level for electric vehicles of 30 per month due to supplier constraints and is only producing around half that number presently. They are going to move the production to another site which will no doubt be costly in time and money. IN addition TAN is unlikely to become cashflow positive before the end of 2008.

Good reason not to sell and to accumulate more on the dips !
Good potential to make impressive gains in a couple of yrs time (imho)
