Galleon Enters into Retail Agreement for 'Blasterz' Product
Galleon Holdings plc announces that it has licensed to Topps, a leading global
creator and marketer of sports and related cards, entertainment products and
distinctive confectionery, the rights to market and distribute Galleon's wholly
owned 'Blasterz' IP in the UK, France, Germany and Italy through retail
channels.
'Blasterz' is a unique patented collectible, created by Galleon and proven to be
a success in multiple markets. Galleon continues to supply fast moving consumer
goods companies, such as Pepsico, with 'Blasterz' for use as a promotional
premium. It has proved so successful that, to date, 175 million 'Blasterz' have
been placed across 10 markets.
This is the first retail deal for 'Blasterz' and the Directors believe that
there is sufficient evidence to suggest that it has tremendous potential in the
retail market.
Stephen Green, Chief Executive, commented,
'Retail is another new sales channel for our product IP Division. It is very
exciting to have entered into this marketplace with one of the world's leading
distributors of 'pocket-money' entertainment products. Naturally, the value of
the deals will depend upon the popularity of the product but, in Topps, we
undoubtedly have the right customer to maximise its potential.'

well done banjo - your devotion to this bb is unerring and looks like it is paying dividends now that you are above your breakeven price.

The EGM this Friday will be key to GON's future SP movement in the short term,it will either rocket to 20p+ or fall to...........a lower value, exciting isn't it?

It's the EGM tomorrow which I believe along with recent announcements from GON have changed the perception for this far too long much unloved company!
The charts do show a change from back end of 2006 and most noticeably so from April of this year that would indicate a positive view of the companies performance is being noticed-imo.

And the other one Mick.
GON in a nice uptrend since April and seems to be in a channel of sorts. Since scooting above 18p the inevitable retracement started a few days ago. I would suggest a fall back to 15p-16p where it meets SP support (previous resistance) and the mid line of the channel, if that fails looking at 14p. GON has a habit of slowly falling back following a good rise, but this time having set a higher high for a while, perhaps it may be sustainable.

And even more thanks for your take on GON,pth.
On the 17th of this month there was a placing of 15.4 million shares which I think have already been spoken for, don't know if that has any influence regarding chart analysis? (don't think it does-lol)

It's holding up rather well at moment but more announcements required methinks before further rises will be seen.
