The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Meldex International plc
Potential Offer
London, UK: Meldex International plc ('the Company'), the specialty pharmaceutical and healthcare company, announces that Steve Martin, the Chief Development Officer and Board member of the Company, has made an approach to the Board of Directors ('the Board') seeking permission to explore the possibility of making an offer for the Company.
.
Just six months ago arguably the most knowledgeable shit in mdx thought the company was worth buying.since his resignation has been spotted by a drive by pi at mdx towers along with Barryeither he was making a bargaining plea or he is dead meat!

Tabby
You keep on about what an honest bookie you are, therefore you should want to see them all in jail, no matter what that means to your investment.
I hope it goes to 1 a share for you, I have no reason to want anyone to lose money. But despite any amount of money you will still be an thicko. (edited)

Morning all,
I will try give my opinions and feedback to the best of my ability. I am not in anyone's "camp". But for the record there is only one show in town so giving BJM time and space to get on with the job is the only option.
Please don't ask specific questions as BJM's root and branch review is probably only 50% the way through. Suffice to say the company is in a mess both financially and operationally.
Firstly, A quick overview I arrived in Cambridge around 10am and left at 5pm.
Myself, Rob Malloy and another SH (much the same as me, just wanting to find out about his "investment"). I left happier than when I arrived, but under no illusion that the task ahead is very long and rocky. I believe that people have to re-adjust their expectations. For instance the company must be viewed as a start up with a solid IP base"
After being shown around the offices and plant it is clear that employees are happy that there has been a management change. There has been no hands on management what so ever! RT visited Cambridge no more than 2/3 times in his tenure, JM the same. I'm sure Stephen Lee - Group technology and Systems Director wont mind me saying. He is looking for focus on products (155 products is way too many), clear management leadership and investment. He believes this is now going to happen, his team appear very loyal and hardworking AND they believe in the products, especially Meltums. He is going on a roadshow in the next few weeks. Something very positve he said to me was "people are coming to us with enquiries" A strategy he is keen on is offer clients a complete brand range, IE,In the case of a mouth Ulcer. A super fast reacting analgesic, the medium term relief (meltums) and a long lasting relief (the patch that dissolves slowly over the mouth ulcer). Sounds a good selling point to me.
Example of the machinary. The Meltums machine is only 3/5 built. with investmenrv (+/- 150,000) it could be finished in 6 months, after trials and approval products could be on the selves in 18 months (conservative) 2 years more likely. Having said that the immediate aim is to win partnership deals and receive milestone payments to cover costs etc.
An example of frustration and incompetence of the old management. In the US Tampa was ready to role out the NRT/SCP a year ago, but in the state of Florida it has to be regulated and $100,000 dollar bond has to be paid. Was this paid? NO.
Currently, nothing can be retrieved from Tampa because the rent hasn't been paid. Why the senior management didn't take contingency steps to recover assets only they know.
Going forward I believe all the subsidiaries will be offloaded. BJM hopes he can save MDC plc. Also two meetings with Nomads have been set up and he is fairly confident we can get one on board in the required timeframe.
Management - Yes he does have options and is confident of getting the right people who are qualified AND live near Cambridge. But noone will is going to come on board until a Nomad has been appointed and the TRUE state of the company is in the public domaine. I do believe that BJM is interviewing Scrutable for the post of Press and publicity officer!
As BJM mentioned months ago to the board. The website should designed to show clearly at what stage we are at with each product development. This will happen but not until other more pressing matters are sorted first.
Culpability. Meldex WILL persue all individuals and advisers who have materially contributed to Medlex's current situation. This won't happen immediately as there are more pressing matters, but evidence has been and will continue to be unearthed. BJM believes that it should be the company that does the actions, so patience here is needed.
Melbrosin, KK do not appear to be "lining their own pockets" but Melbrosin was tasked with building up a sales force to be ready for the product launches, which they did, only for there to be NO products to launch.
FMC appears to be very happy, and we should be receiving payments this year of at least 2m minimum and rising.
If MDX plc is to survive money will needed for working capital. Ideas being mooted include an open offer and convertable loan notes.
The plan is to reduce costs, already BJM has reduced the Patent Portfolio cover from an eyewatering 100 k pcm to 30K pcm with a 15 minute telephone conversation.
Increase the IP and outlicence products.
Persue the miscreants, much easier if the company is saved from administration and more devastating for them.
BJM will consider success to be "if we are still in business in a years time" If not rest assured he will be "the last person to turn the lights out"
Final quote
Q. BJM "Do you want to get the IP on the cheap"
A. "FUCKING BOLLOCKS"

Cross your fingers. It might just survive. Theoretically there is a huge potential market for the technology. Just get it to the market without further problems!

Tabby - just think of all the pineapples you could have bought with the just short of 200k you pissed away on MDX. How happy you would have been. You'd have been sexually satisfied for the rest of your natural life. There would have been no need for your bitter comments to Al et Al. It's such a shame.
