I am not in this one , but it is probably a bit of water that makes the diesel hazy. All it need is to settle a little- drained off and there you go. Assume temp. halt in prod is only due to lack of tanks to run down into

Current quick dirty calc gives N of shares in circ x SP at 27.2M on Bid price. I nearly bought last year in the 6x.x p range.
I believe they are the only large scale commercial producer of Bio fuel in the UK.
Hopefully the new UK government will actually start to value bio fuel instead of regarding it as subversive. I use V100 in my old Citroen turbo diesel at 75p/litre. (Thats duty and VAT paid.) But mine is made locally by one of a network of small producers.

what about DOO? .... they are in much the same field though they achieve the end result rather differently ..... DOO also had a look at BFC at Christmas with a view to t/o but walked away very quickly

Water is actually added to some biofuels. My current batch is cloudy but it still works ok in the engine. BFC use the hot nasty process of producing Biofuel as opposed to the cold process of V100. Some locally produced fuel by the hot process has proved unuseable since it did not remove all the fatty solids. It may be the same problem that BFC have, thus letting it settle for a few days does provide a short term solution though it reduces the output volume, since the fatty bits have to be re-processed when the usable stuff has been drained off.
At this price I think its cold be good value assumint they dont fold. They keep emphasising that they will stay within their banking agreement.

I feel that DOO has a lot going for it compared to Biofuels...
a) Management seem to meet all there targets on time, feel that there is much more honesty there (they do not try to manipulate news, hold back info etc)
b) The D1 20 unit is like a mini refinery, each one is capable of producing 8000 tonnes of fuel a year
c) Plans to have 6 D1 20s in the UK by the end of 2006... total production of 72,000 tonnes a year. The new plant Biofues has built will be able to produce 250,000 tonnes when at full capacity, this may take some time to achieve if the delays so far are anything to go by
d) Smaller units can be deployed around the country to greatly reduce transport costs
e) Units can easily be shipped arround the world, and be used in remote locations, provided power, water and veg oil are supplied. These units will run on a generator.
f) A lot of investment in India, crops are being planted very fast because of favorable monsoon conditions, they have found a plant that produces good oil but will grow in arid conditions, and Indias demand for fuel is very high. still developing India will be able to emprace this new technology
I would appreciate any feed back on these coments
