In Asia today, the Nikkei closed down 317.22 points at 16,351.85. The Hong Kong market is closed today.

The New York Mercantile Exchange's main oil contract, light sweet crude for December delivery, was up 25 cents at $61 a barrel from $60.75 in late trading in the US Friday.

This has to be one of the quietest threads on moneyam. We clearly don't get alot of traders on here.
Anyone into EO? Up a touch this morning on asset swap news. They are showing signs of action after spending the summer in the doldrums. KMR also looking strong again.
