Roll up Roll up for the seasons most eagerly anticipated awards ceremony..well since last year's award ceremony anyway!

Yes it is that time of year again when we ask you to vote for the MoneyAM Xmas Lunch Awards 2006. Competition as always will be fierce as all the categories are once again hotly contested. On a special note, although thousands of you will no doubt want to cast a vote for me in some of the more esteemed categories, however, as co presenter I am ineligible. This is to ensure the integrity of these awards (plus I count the votes, so that would hardly be fair). Having said that I am hoping to be up for the lifetime achievement award in 2015, which gives me plenty of time to work on the speech!

Ruthie - moi? Ramper? I've not mentioned PDX for almost a year now .....

Thread of the year:	iSoft: Keep an eye on these guys - a lot of traders made a lot of dough on that thread. And those who are currently long have a lot more still to make....
Trader of the year:	Dailos (for trading IOT particularly well)
Poster of the year:	Treble - some insightful posts on the IOT thread.
Ramper of the year:	Dil - He's still ramping that bloody Eboo cowboy outfit, although he's shut up at last about nord anglia
Most Helpful Poster:	Dominic Simpson - For keeping Dil partially in check
Funniest poster:	SueHelen - we had a lot of fun with him on DMR

It's always tricky coz you generally have 2 or 3 culprits for each category, but that's my lot.

Thread of the year: Mine thread and Vix thread set up by M_P_H last week.

Trader of the year: Ruth, quick learner and now an acomplished trader.

And a special award to someone who posts how many points they made when closing/covering a trade whilst failing to post that they were opening a position in it in the first place! :-)

Poster of the year: Treblewide, haggis eating lesbian from Jockland.

Ramper of the year: Dil, an English born transvestite.

Special Award: Gausie, i met him at Hampstead Heath a few weeks back, caught him coming out of a secluded area, hand in hand with Mr Ashley James!

MoneyAM Users Special Award 2006 - Big Al - for the lasting memory of his impression of Billy Connolly playing a Glaswegian drunk in the pub after the 2005 Xmas bash. I know of no other person who can get so potted yet stay on their two feet in a crowded barroom and conduct an everlasting conversation and still not get into a fight.........shame you can't come down to town this year, Al :)
