Talking of stats the most terrifying one i found out about a week ago was the situ at Ghawar. The biggest oilfield in the world. Since it came into production in the 1930's it has produced 62 billion bbls of sweet crude,ln its heyday it could produce 300,000bblsoe p/d with very low psi .. Last tuesday when routine water injection commenced the Saudis threw 250,000 gallons of water through the field and guess what came out .....Yup u have guessed it . 250,000 gallons of water !!!!!!! Those in the know are aware that once Ghawar dies "conventinal society" as we know it , dies with it ,,,,,,
