MoneyAM is one of the UK's most comprehensive financial websites, and is a premier destination for those seeking personal finance information, stock market data, business news and comment.

Recognition of the innovative and high quality service provided by the website is evident from the increasing list of blue chip online portals that use MoneyAM financial products and data on a white label basis, these include the Telegraph online website and Microsofts MSN UK website as well as a number of brokers and PLC clients.

We now feel this is the right time to launch the MoneyAM Online Finance Awards and recognise those in the Finance industry with an award chosen by our rapidly increasing user base.

Ruth - 29 May 2008 16:48 - 9 of 26

Son, i will do it for free,:-)

Isaacs - 29 May 2008 16:52 - 10 of 26

Come on Ruth. I'm quite happy with ET. At least they hung on to my money. No brainer for last place for spreadbetting and direct access - good old Global Trader with a special award for lifetime achievement in CFD trading to Bonnier.

Ruth - 29 May 2008 18:55 - 11 of 26

Isaacs:-)

Sonofagun - 29 May 2008 19:07 - 12 of 26

Ruth, you're such a tease:)

How's about CMC for the stiffest increase in charges!

hewittalan6 - 29 May 2008 19:51 - 13 of 26

Since comparison sites are currently under FSA review for misinforming and misleading customers, is the award for comparison sites inviting the votes for "Least Dishonest"????
If thats the case can I vote for thebiggestbackhanderlawayscomesontop.com
At least you know where you are with them...........................

;-)

MightyMicro - 29 May 2008 21:58 - 14 of 26

Look you lot, if none of you comes up with any sensible suggestions, you'll be leaving it to Bullie to pick his favourite. Mind you, that might make for an interesting revelation.

Mike, are there categories or is it a single award?

Isaacs - 29 May 2008 23:35 - 15 of 26

LOL thought you were meant to be tech savvy. Try clicking in the vote now area. Lots of category. You can even vote for your favourite credit card company.

Mike favourites are probably Galvan and IG!

MightyMicro - 30 May 2008 00:11 - 16 of 26

Isaacs: Of course I'm tech savvy, that's why I don't go around pressing buttons willy-nilly on websites. That way lies madness and death. :)

Bullshare - 30 May 2008 09:41 - 17 of 26

Isaacs. Thanks for telling the old duffer where to look, I thought that as it was a plural 'awards', it might have given the game away that maybe more than one award, next year i think perhaps we shall call them 'The MoneyAM lots of different finance awards for all sorts of companies 2009' :-)

MightyMicro - 30 May 2008 09:44 - 18 of 26

Oi! Bullie. Don't start picking on me while Martini's still shuffling around. :)

Bullshare - 30 May 2008 09:51 - 19 of 26

Ok, Im taking him eto twickers tomorrow so I'll pick on him then:-)

Out of interest, so far over 800 individuals have cast a vote of some kind, nice to see quite a bit of interest in this so far.

Kayak - 30 May 2008 10:01 - 20 of 26

So not all of Ruth's family have managed to get on to vote yet then!

Sonofagun - 30 May 2008 10:11 - 21 of 26

Yakety Yak:)

MightyMicro - 30 May 2008 10:22 - 22 of 26

K: Nah, only her bruv, he's voted 600 times yesterday . . ;-) I hope Bullie pays out.

Ruth - 01 Jun 2008 10:48 - 23 of 26

Kayak, MM:-) theres not 800 of us, not unless you count second cousins as well:-)

Spaceman - 05 Jun 2008 15:54 - 24 of 26

I mainly rely on my pet plastic horse 'Madge' for financial advise but I cant find her listed.

Please help.

MightyMicro - 05 Jun 2008 17:16 - 25 of 26

Spaceman: 'Madge'? Does Lambykins know you're two-timing?
