shares have doubled today on the back a joint venture with Kings College University /Medical Marketing Group of Cambridge to create a novel therapy the to treat the aids/hiv virus.The newly formed company is to named Viritas and will be 50% owned by the Cambridge company.

Up another whooping 20% today and thats a continuation from Fridays rise...

taken a bit of a southward trend this am, still high hopes for the mid term.....and some news on new drugs

This might be due to the news on Biofocus today re HIV (as this is good for them and puts others in the race down?)

The announcement on the Hiv drug and its positive reaction from the market has pushed MMI even higher today with a record volume of shares traded..

some profit taking today but no worries as the trend is upwards and onwards...

100p by Xmas what do people think...

brokers note out with a 150p target, which I think is far too low...

I am a long term holder of mmg, since the days it was Bioscience innovation on ofex and would dearly love to see it go to 100 - 150 , however.
A brokers note for 150 surprises me as I cant see what it is based on.
MMG have a great no. of potential products at r&d stage and pre. license but but in my opinion the value is purely speculative in which case it should be a 'name your price' scenario considering the gravity and potential of the markets it is courting.
My last top up was at 23 pence and I dearly wished I had indulged at single figure prices, but although I have beleived in this company since the beginning..................... you know what its like!
Never mind i am back in the black but tread carefully.

I know what its like rob having been in from Ofex days but dont forget it was 150p a couple of years back just when the dot com bubble burst so who knows we may witness 150p again but it still remains blue sky to me...fingers crossed..

Up 5% on the day and now a 10 bagger for me since buying last April and not selling till we have some more news on Viratis the anti aids drug (shoudnt be long now)...

And up another 8% on the day.....now where is that announcement..

Very significant statement from MMG today converning viratis aids patents granted in Australia.. and the sp has risen too.

Great article in the Times today which explains why the directors have sold 6.5 million shares to M&G in a private sale as they are a tightly held share and not many shares on the open market..
