Hello all, I was clarkejtc over on advfm and am fed up with effluent and co. I followed Winnies buy recommendations all the way down till he baled out and then really averaged down at 2.75p, so am looking forward to break even on this really interesting ( but you don't stand need to have a heart condition) stock at 6.75p and the fundamentals really are still there. A prosperous new year to us all pleeeeeeeeeaase!!

Palwing - 09 Jan 2004 15:05 - 8 of 31

Thanx C7...lets hope this board stays more sane than the ADVFN board.

Brainybingo... I got in at 40p (ish) and have averaged down to 7.3p now. I hold far too many shares in this company but take heart from the fact that I did the same with Amstrad. I first bought AMT at 600p and averaged down all the way to 30p! They are now at 147p and I am 43% up. Phew...it was getting close though. Not that I put PTG in the same bracket as AMT though...but it just goes to show what CAN happen sometimes. I think that PTG have the nucleus of a good idea..and with a little bit of luck and a fair wind..it might...JUST might go somewhere. However, there will be a few months more of anguish before we see if this is a dead duck or a flyer. Good luck to all.... steady as we go and hold on tight???

I thought Planestation fans should have the benefit of a fine piece of research showing Manston freight figures courtesy of the CAA website.

October 2003 - 4833 tonnes, October 2002 - 2632 tonnes

Manston had a total of 1875 aircraft movement during October 2003.
Monthly freight figures for 2003, compared with the same month in 2002, show the following variations:

Jan -15%
Feb +11%
Mar +17%
Apr +43%
May +52%
Jun +23%
Jul +18%
Aug +65%
Sep +78%
Oct +84%

Is PTG the correct EPIC?

On other sites it is WGG.

This site won't display charts for PTG other sites do under WGG

Socrates - 09 Jan 2004 21:17 - 14 of 31

apple
It changed today, some other sites have not caught up yet. It is confusing, dear old Wiggins has been the bottom line on my portfolio for so long. It just isn't right that it now appears in the middle.

Also PTG used to belong to a different company that went out in 2002, allegedly. Some sites are still showing their old charts.

Socrates has started a new thread, shall we all use that one? Seems like the right time for a new start.

Canberra BI6 - 10 Jan 2004 13:22 - 17 of 31

Hi all, who can guess who I might have been on ADVFN Site, lets hope this Thread stays sane!!!!!!!!

Go......................Planey....................Go

brainybingo - 10 Jan 2004 13:53 - 18 of 31

B16 was an aircraft, was there a Canberra?? aircraft,.......... and lightning was an aircraft???

Socrates - 10 Jan 2004 14:07 - 19 of 31

Well we'll all have to guess won't we because I can prove he is not lightning.

Palwing - 10 Jan 2004 16:21 - 20 of 31

Canberra B16??...that has just GOT to be RW..although I reckon the closest he got to one was in training most prob. (grin)

Well..would you let a guy who has to always keep one foot on the ground service YOUR aircraft? Especially a "plumber"
acanbera.jpg Originally the English Electric A1 Canberra was conceived to be strong and simple, and this has resulted in an aircraft which still flies today, having gone through numerous changes along the way. Mks include: B2, PR2, T4, B6, PR7, B(I)8, PR9, E15, B16, T17, TT18 & T19. The Canberra was the RAF's first jet bomber, and has since become its most versatile servant. It reached its 50th birthday in 1999.

Now if you want to talk about REAL aircraft??

I love the picture of "Fat Albert", see them every day here. Why so small a picture of the Vulcan B2, and no Lightning!

Canberra BI6 - 10 Jan 2004 17:02 - 22 of 31

I knew palwing would be there, now come on I served on 213Sqn BI6 Canberra's at Laarbruch and flew back in one from Akrotiri laying down in the Bomb Aimers position in the glass nose. There was another four in the cockpit, one on the rumble seat on the door and the other three lucky ones were on bang seats, Martin Baker Mk1's.

Looking forward to brousing the Thread next week.
