Don't miss this! (NIS)

JRM - 02 Mar 2004 15:20

The 10th March will see Northgate IS go into the Top 250.

It's market value is over 375 million and that really should be enough, but nobody has stated this in the media.

A friend has bought 10 000 worth mad or genius?

JRM - 09 Mar 2004 09:44 - 6 of 31

Still no news but the Sunday Times was positive on Sunday

JRM - 22 Mar 2004 12:38 - 7 of 31

They've arrived, but there hasn't been much of a party! -Why?

JRM - 24 Mar 2004 16:16 - 8 of 31

A prety dull move into the Top 250

JRM - 31 Mar 2004 16:00 - 9 of 31

Someone knows -Is it you?

Socrates - 31 Mar 2004 17:44 - 10 of 31

Threads got the wrong title, should have been "Don't Miss NIS".

JRM - 01 Apr 2004 12:37 - 11 of 31

Possibly, but can I change it?

JRM - 05 May 2004 10:58 - 12 of 31

Now will you listen. Results will be 'In excess of expectations!'

JRM - 07 May 2004 14:40 - 13 of 31

Still no upside? Why??????????????????????????????

chartist2004 - 03 Nov 2004 09:56 - 14 of 31

Were the 3.2 + 2.4m buy trades? tia

dipys100 - 03 Nov 2004 11:55 - 15 of 31

Shows as WT (worked principle trade - whatever that means) & price 67.34 & 67.57 above bid/offer (66.50/67.00) price. Does it mean a premium was paid?

dipys100 - 25 Jan 2005 16:17 - 16 of 31

After losing ground, these shares are starting to pick up on good Volume. Anybody know what's happening?

JRM - 26 Jan 2005 16:01 - 17 of 31

I'm bored with them!

dipys100 - 27 Jan 2005 09:07 - 18 of 31

Ditto. Very frustrating shares to hold, but am willing to hold to see the effects of aquisitions last year on the next set of results.

g64946 - 15 Feb 2006 07:51 - 19 of 31

This has shown good growth from just under 60p to 90p in the last year & was showing signs of slowing up.

Hopefully todays preferred bidder status will help it back on the move -
Any views?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Software solutions provider Northgate Information Solutions has won preferred bidder status to provide a managed

IT service to all primary schools in Northern Ireland.

The 5-year contact, called Lot 6, is for the provision of managed IT services to all primary schools in Northern Ireland covering six counties and 883 primary school sites.

"It will enable all schools in Northern Ireland to be integrated into the online environment via a single technology platform," said Northgate.

Chief executive Chris Stone said, "We are delighted to have reached preferred bidder status with C2k and are currently in negotiations to reach a contractual agreement. This will be the largest managed IT service contract in education in terms of numbers of schools supported."

Bit of a reverse head and shoulders forming indicating a 90-100p target. I bought some @ 72p and will top up again on Monday. Don't know what is happening but the chart shows something is going on, H

Socrates - 09 Oct 2006 11:57 - 21 of 31

Something going on indeed! Awaiting more news from company about the informal approaches, what and who remains to be seen. Fingers crossed!

Bolshi - 11 Dec 2006 08:24 - 22 of 31

Excellent results today. Would have expected to see more discussion on this one. Tom Winni says a valuation of 1-20 on fundamentals, but don't let that put you off! Lol

boxerdog - 11 Dec 2006 13:38 - 23 of 31

I agree excellent results! was more expected?. I've added to my SB. long today and remain confident.

Socrates - 17 Jul 2007 13:57 - 24 of 31

NIS may be on the move again. Someone just spent 420,000 on 500,000 shares.

kate bates - 12 Dec 2007 17:47 - 25 of 31

anybody managed to grab any after they announced the bid approach?? May buy a few more in the morn as price only at last weeks level and market didn't have enough time to react upwards. Talk of 95p+ for a successful bid.
