3DM Worldwide Plc - Superstock?? (TDM)

Adie2001 - 12 Mar 2004 20:54

Followers of Michael Walters, site at http://michaelwalters.com will be very aware of this Company, which is not widely known otherwise. It has recently been labelled as a "superstock" but then MW did tip it from 25p. The information, about TDM, available at the site is vast and extensive and should be checked out. I have made many, many times the small subscription fee based on his tips, within only 3 weeks.

Company website: http://www.3dmworldwide.com/> ***BRAND NEW WEBSITE***

Overview from the Website:

October 2001 saw the acquisition of 3DM Technologies Inc., and the subsequent change of name of Camco Corporation Plc to 3DM Worldwide Plc. The principal subsidiaries are 3DM Technologies Inc (USA) which is primarily a technology based company. Best described as an intellectual property bank and licensor, 3DM Technologies Inc owns the intellectual property of two new plastics technologies;

3DM Powder Impression Moulding (PIM) - this revolutionary new process can produce large complex lightweight plastic parts that have the strength and other similar characteristics of steel.

3DM 3 Dimensional Blow Moulding Process- is an extrusion process whereby multiple materials and several distinct components are consolidated into a single, seamless module, reducing the number of parts required in a manufacturing environment.

3DM Technologies Inc plans to licence the processes for individual applications and territories.

Current deals are:

*Option to Acquire Recycling Business
**LATEST NEWS**

*Transense, 3DM expand tyre sensor licence deal

*Marine Licence and Acquisition - Highseas Technologies Ltd

*Acquisition - Longborough Capital plc

*US Licensing Deals

*UK Manufacturing Agreement

* Licensing Agreement with Daimler Chrysler for their Dodge Dakota to produce a polymeric pick-up box for the next generation of Dodge Dakota trucks. A prototype was exhibited at the 2002 North American Motor Show, showing a complete one-piece plastic rear box. Despite a 95lb weight reduction, this is a more robust truck-bed, suitable for tilt unloading and with a 4,000lb capacity. Production is due to commence in the final quarter of the current year, with a meaningful contribution to the groups bottom line in 2004.

Research & Development is over. Commercialisation has begun.

3DM Worldwide PLC
23 December 2004

Press Release 23 December 2004

3DM Worldwide plc

('3DM' or 'the Company')

Ford Motor Company Update

On 22 September 2004, 3DM Worldwide plc announced that two of its US based
licensees, Global Technologies Inc. (GT) and VP Technologies Inc., (VPT) are
working with the Research and Advanced Engineering department of the Ford Motor
Company to develop a plastic encapsulated magnesium cross frame member, the
structural component of the chassis, using the PIM process as a replacement for
existing steel frames.

The laboratory testing phase has recently been completed successfully. The
Company has now received notification of a purchase order to provide
cross-members for three vehicles on the Ford F-150 pick up truck for further
corrosion and crash testing.

This phase is expected to be completed within the next few months. The company
has been advised by Ford that it is their intention (once testing has been
completed to their satisfaction) that the PIM cross members will be included on
the production line for the Ford F-150.

The F-150 is Ford's best selling pick-up truck with close to 1 million units
sold in 2004. The truck has won a host of awards in the US and is a model of
the F-Series that has had the top selling pick-up truck in the US for the last
27 years.

A cross frame member provides rigidity and strength to a vehicle. Each car is
fitted with two cross frame members and is the main safety structure in the body
of a car.

Ken Brooks, Chairman of 3DM Worldwide, said: 'This is a significant development
for 3DM. Our strategy has always been to focus on large volume sectors such as
the automotive industry, and we could not have done better than to work with the
Ford Motor Company. Whilst it takes time to see the rewards of this strategy, in
the long term we believe this will provide greater shareholder value.'

This share TDM seems to have started going up a bit every day. Apart from the obvious reason that more people are buying than selling I wonder whether any other reason is needed to join in. I notice that these have been up to 200p in the past and at 75p it appears to be recovering. Any strong believers on this site ?

016622 - 07 Jan 2005 10:44 - 8 of 16

very interested, great to be in league with ford....1 million truck parts just on 1 model in the pipeline...... great prospects
but until the sp really starts to break upwards I keep it as a watch

016622 - 08 Jan 2005 11:03 - 9 of 16

looks like decision time
imo looks a good buy at 85 or above close
dyor.

ehall - 09 Jan 2005 17:33 - 10 of 16

Recommended as a buy in Friday's RHPS, there's still a lot more upside as the large sellers has exited, like you say, a few pence up every day soon adds up. Note also the big spread, the MM's aren't exactly encouraging trading.

localsonly - 06 Apr 2005 11:16 - 11 of 16

3DM Worldwide plc (AIM:TDM), the plastic technology intellectual property
company, advises that it will be announcing its preliminary results for the year
ended 31 December 2004 on Monday 25 April 2005.

Would anyone like to comment on the results, any expectations, perhaps we could here more of the Ford deal?

ciderman - 26 Jan 2006 22:45 - 12 of 16

jan 2006 3dm has slid - will there be a recovery? why such a steep slide?

hangon - 08 Feb 2006 23:39 - 13 of 16

No believers here - talk is cheap isn't it?
Look at the historical dates Jan05...April05 and Jan06....hardly looks like this sp is going anywhere.
/
When you have a revolutionary product you need to be carful whom you license - too small a co and they might fail, giving your process a bad image - and too large and you might become swallowed-up (or paid late).
/
This co has made many deals but each seems to be subject to confirmation/trials etc. meaning that there is only intention (ie Not a deal, in the sense it is Income)
/
Without steady income, exploiting even larger potential users in more exotic "fields" become a waste of cash - If you run-out, your existing shareholders are diluted - this doesn't matter if you are Rolls Royce as you know the cash will be used to fund a factory (etc) - but here I see a different trend.....I have never held this stock, but many will have profited from the rise before the last few years' slide.

hangon - 26 Oct 2006 14:18 - 14 of 16

Bit of a spike-up (to 9p), from an all-time low of 7p yesterday as they raised 1m by way of placing lots more shares. Effectively this is a dilution.
The RNS says the funds will help repay loans and provide working capital - is this along with the recent funding earlier 2006 - already spent?
IMHO this company has a knack of spending what it doesn't earn.

hangon - 12 Mar 2007 11:09 - 15 of 16

Oh dear, more dilution - Co. raised 100k at 6p - a far cry from the 11p-spike in the sp shown about 2 Feb 07 - what was that about?
- - - Why does this business leak cash? - - -
Shouldn't they have some income - er, or are we waiting for the "Big Push" - well, execs., you had better shove soon in unison - OR else Shove-Off
If you can't sell a waste-plastic business right now - you can forget it once the competition cottons on and does the job better............it's not rocket science is it?

Indeed any competitor could do a far better job - in the time this business has leaked so much money the Bank of England has had to reprint the 20 note (News item!)...ho-ho.
DYOR.

3DM Worldwide Contract win

RNS Number:8522Z
3DM Worldwide PLC
09 July 2007

3DM Worldwide plc ("3DM" or the "Company")

Contract win

3DM Worldwide plc (AIM: TDM) the holder of the intellectual property rights for
the Powder Impression Moulding (PIM) process has won an order for #265,000 from
Mediwall Ltd (Mediwall), part of Swift Horsman Group Ltd.

The Mediwall product is an innovative panelised en-suite system for use in the
healthcare sector. Mediwall has chosen the PIM process to produce the floor,
roof and wall panels for its modular assembly product. This order constitutes
the successful culmination of over 12 months of in depth technical design and
development work. Mediwall expects to have the product in full production in
early 2008. As part of the order 3DM has granted exclusivity in this market
sector to Mediwall.

3DM Product Development Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of 3DM, will manage the
project.

William Mainwaring, a Director of Mediwall Ltd said, "Environmental
considerations are a key factor when presenting building solutions to the
healthcare sector. The ability of the PIM process to economically convert mixed
waste plastics into high quality, low maintenance finished products, which in
turn are sustainable, makes it ideal for use in green design projects."

Niall Mackay, CEO of 3DM said, "We are delighted to be working with Mediwall on
this exciting product. This contract, once again, demonstrates the versatility
of the PIM process and the breadth of potential products and markets."
