Trading tools

brain2brain - 01 May 2004 16:27

Up until now I have been using all the free data from various investing sites to try and decide which shares to invest in. I now realise that I need more information to make even better choices. In particular I like the idea of investing in shares which have shown consistant growth over the past 12 months eg Top Tiles, Rolls Royce etc. I would very vey interested to know if there is some kind of stock screener which will allow me to identify this type of stock. There are inevitably lots of sites that seem to offer this facility... at a cost. But before I decide which one to go for i would really welcome any advice / recommendations from more experienced investors.

Cheers in advance

I used crocs first and it helped and then decided to go for additional tools to use as combined method. One thing i forgot to mention with omni trader is you can use it in game mode. In this mode it picks a share out from the database ( you do not know which one ) and then allows you to trade it on a daily basis with all the signals/ indicators you have selected. You can then see how you would have done in the real market... but i dont cost ya a penny. Good to practice on and I think the only package that lets you do this. Good luck with your decision.
