Among its other interests Wyatt has an outfit called Firesmart which advises on fire certification. Fire certification is to be made the responsibility of the individual company (no longer can you seek the advice of the Fire Brigade) Has anyone any knowledge of Wyatts Firesmart activities and how much they could be augmented by new regulations, due to commentce in mid 2005?

This was on a turnover of #2,990,863 (2006: #1,296,149) which represents an increase of 131%. The profit attributable to shareholders (after amortisation, depreciation, interest, joint venture interests, minority interests and tax was #121,589 (2006: #687,280 loss).
Well undervalued IMHO, at only 1.8m MCAP.
Turnover more than doubled, 687k loss to 121k maiden profit!
The share price has been to 40p twice before, and then it was on hope of good turnover, and profit... now we have proof that all the component parts are viable, and can look forward to building on those increses in net profit, and turnover.
40p would still only be under 5 mil mcap...I'm in with 5,000 shares!

Wyatt Group swings to FY pretax profit on higher turnover UPDATE
(Adds details on PES unit)
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Wyatt Group PLC swung to a full-year pretax
profit on a 131 pct rise in turnover and said that it is confident of a strong
performance in the current year for its PES consulting unit.
The UK consultancy services group posted a pretax profit of 108,201 stg for
the year to March 31, 2007 against a loss of 717,259 stg last year. Turnover
rose to 2.97 mln stg from 1.26 mln a year ago.
The company said its biotech business experienced unforeseen delays in the
testing and production of the drug testing product, resulting in it not being
ready to begin market trials.
The group is therefore taking steps to limit further funding for ongoing
costs and it is intended that the costs will instead be met by the US
inventor/developer. In return, Wyatt Biotech will become a joint venture between
Wyatt and the US inventor, it added.
Wyatt said its PES unit has made significant progress in 2006/07 and has
continued to develop its range of products and services. PES is currently
marketing a tax product, generating significant revenues and giving it access to
several blue-chip clients.

14.00-18.00 pence, started rising now. IMO the Interims produced a spike to 23 pence, the results out today should produce a spike to the 30 pence levels at the very least! The Normal Market Size is only 500 shares so all the trades are delayed in reporting by 2 hours!
