BigBob - Sorry to be pedantic, but check out the rules on these betting sites.
From Betfair: "All bets apply to the full 90 minutes, plus injury time. Extra-time/penalty shoot-outs are not included."
From VictorChandler: "All soccer match bets apply to full 90 minutes play unless otherwise stated. This includes injury time but not extra-time and golden goal or penalty shoot-outs."
However, neither actually say what happens to your bet in the event of extra time. Maybe you just get your original stake back, in which case you are still down overall.
I do see what you are getting at, though. The question is whether betfair would pay out on a 0 - 0 draw at 90 minutes, because technically speaking the game hasn't ended. (I've had this argument with Ladbrokes before).

starfrog have checked this out.Draw is 90 mins and also why do u think they offer you outright bet??
If the match go s to xtra timeits obviously a draw.
And with the stingy odds bookies offer for either team to win outright it makes sense to back a draw for the 90 mins!
The original bet is 100 % guaranteed profit because you are simply covering all outcomes in 90 mins and making use of the generous bookies new customer incentives.
Happy betting folks, enjoy the match and the 60 whatever the outcome.

Bob
You've forgotten to mention the 20 Betfair give you for every person who uses your code and puts this little bet on :-)
I am still tempted though - makes the game a little bit more tense from a neutral's perspective...

only if you dont already have an account with betfair or vc - or both :-(((
BBJL - would it not have been easier just to lay chelsea on betfair rather than having the the two bets
these opportunities come up quite often with the first bet matching options that most bookies offer - caveat - only do so if you wont then gamble the money left in the accounts!!! the site below offers up to date info on those available
