jameel, i believe there is a big difference between hype, speculation and facts. the dmr and axm threads are all hype to my mind, vog is about speculation and facts. of course you have to take a risk before a compamy like vog has revealed anything but thats how you get the bigger gains. The other side of course is they fail you get a big loss like bowleven (blvn), but that is not the end of the story because there is more testing/exploration to be done. will do some research on npe when i get chance.

Jameel - Good report, more researh required to guage other opions though. I noticed that the main gearing is 2007-8 to may well buy in then once milestones have been completed. Assumptions in stake on the 9/2b and Mariner Field (75% & 26.66%) will also have been confirmed by then...

I bought into CDL this week @ 27p, another UK oil & gas co. in the Ukraine, RNS out today regarding a 8% holding.
