Apparently the results will be released tomorrow judging by the trades today investors are hoping for more positive news.

m_dwane - 30 Mar 2006 19:37 - 7 of 1180

The results will be released tomorrow

driver - 31 Mar 2006 07:46 - 8 of 1180

Results out.

Highlights: acquisition of Auvation Limited completed - August 2005
launch of EnPADTM technology and filing of Company's first ever
'Medicament' patent describing potential new anti-cancer drugs - August
2005
management team reorganised and strengthened - August 2005

Post interim period highlights:
a second series of potential new anti-cancer drugs from EnPADTM - January
2006
collaboration and Intellectual Property agreement with Almac Diagnostics -
March 2006
progress report: ALIBITM patent granted and manufacturing agreement signed
for lead cancer drug candidate - March 2006

The company reported an unaudited loss of 883,223 for the period, representing
a 49% increase compared to the equivalent period in the previous financial year.
Increased operating expenses were driven by the acquisition of Auvation Ltd,
and by investment in management changes and product development undertaken as
part of a revised operating strategy.

In order to provide working capital and to enable EiRx to continue exploration of various opportunities that would substantially strengthen the Company and enhance shareholder value, the Company proposes to raise funds through a placing with institutional investors and looks forward to announcing the results of this fundraising shortly. With the benefit of the anticipated new funds I am confident that EiRx can progress to secure proof of concept for the leading compounds in our pipeline, creating a solid basis for future partnering activities.

"With the benefit of the anticipated new funds" ERX must know that the institutions are interested in funding the now new ERX good news IMO.

moneyplus - 31 Mar 2006 08:05 - 10 of 1180

cheers driver-I like enhance shareholder value. I thought this would be a short hold but now looks as though it's worth hanging on a bit longer.

driver - 31 Mar 2006 08:15 - 11 of 1180

Definitely a long term hold if you read the highlights, the acquisition of Auvation the launch of EnPADTM technology, collaboration and Intellectual Property agreement with Almac Diagnostics and now the institutions getting interested in funding all good stuff.

kimoldfield - 31 Mar 2006 08:31 - 12 of 1180

Anyone unfamiliar with this share will run a mile after this report; if I get the opportunity I will top up my holding. The loss made was substantially lower than I had expected, indicating a tightly run ship. I particularly like theses quotes from the Prospects section:-

"Although we have been able to demonstrate the quality of our science to partners including OSI Pharmaceuticals and Merck & Co., in 2005 a number of revenue-generating deals failed to materialise. We believe this was a result of changes in the market dynamics of the drug industry...........

..........EiRx began to react to this trend when we applied to the Marie Curie fund to support us in the establishment of drug library screening capability. The acquisition of Auvation added promising new drug discovery programmes to our portfolio, and the pace of change in our business strategy accelerated in the second half of 2005."

Big names as prospective partners, optimism in acquiring funds, willingness to change quickly and not carry on like a dog with a bone when things are not quite right - all that is in the report and indicates to me that ERX have a long, lucrative future ahead of them. I'm sticking with them!

I agree there is only a few small punters jumping ship this will turn blue by the end of the day, going away for the w/end so I will not be posting till Monday.

m_dwane - 31 Mar 2006 08:42 - 14 of 1180

Having read the results I am happy with my decision to have invested in this company and will not be selling anytime soon.

Further news flow is imminent and if you dig a little deeper you will find that the company are genuinely excited by their prospects, as clearly are the institutions who want to share in their future success.

kimoldfield - 31 Mar 2006 08:46 - 15 of 1180

Have a good wkend Driver...relax!
