Gosh, the place is dead. Terrible stink of champers and, strangely, fish.

Morning all from a very wet SA, the valley is covered of a within thirty foot high of ground ceiling of cloud, the numerous lakes on the golf course have a two or three foot covering of mist and all in all its really very eerie.

Had a hell of a lot of rain through the past ten hours which is good and tommorrow is forecast to be back to 25-28 degrees, weird or what?

Reading last nigyhts Golden Mutts epic I wondered if he was sponsored, p*ssed out of his mind, finally turned the corner or what...was it just to get to be poster 6k????????? Sad Dawg!

Off for lunch today at La Petite Ferme Restaurant at Franschoek; its with a couple who are just about the last of 'The Swallows' and they fly back to the UK tonight to spend your summer over there and return here in Oct.

Always a bit sad but its a signal that log fires will soon be burning and games evenings starting when locals really start mixing a lot, so happy times ahead.

Talking of happy times; altho' grey and wet here there's a sea of blue on the monitor thank the Lord, in truth just getting a bit back from the past few days losses.

good morning, martini! I have just the cure for your ...err....'headache'. Could you manage a small flute of chilled champagne with maybe some cheezy nibbles? I shall leave your glass on the bar and a freshly-opened bottle of pink champagne in the fridge....... The nibbles are the ones next to GD's socks on the sofa. Enjoy!
