CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

jfletendre - 26 Nov 2003 16:08 - 601 of 1924

Thanks for your replies Sue and you're very welcome. Seems I have to make the decision today as to buying the balance of 75,000 shares at the higher price - as you said, the price seems to have stabilized now....

SueHelen - 26 Nov 2003 16:19 - 602 of 1924

Yes it has Anna which is very encouraging indeed. A base has been formed at this price with the real spread still at 17.5-18.5 pence. MMs still paying a premium for stock. They are accumalating for the next few days.

Best Wishes,

Sue.

Only joined MoneyAm following the demise of Nothing-Ventured.com. Tended not to follow BBs until now.

Big thanks for your advice and guidance on CWV so far. Have bought in 3 times since following your thread.

Written my own share analysis software to monitor shares. From criteria I use CWV has been the top performing share for the last 8 days out of 13. But the 14 day RSI is now showing CWV to be over-bought and might be one reason why we have not seen the expected movement northwards.

Don't think is too serious, looks like we will finish today at a mid-price of 17.75, yesterday was 18.37. Based on previous trends might even slip back to just below 17.0, before it turns north again. My opinion, of course.

Am staying in for the ride.

Afters todays test, which it went through with flying colours, (there was no sell off), strong buying support whenever the stock was marked down, and a orderly exit of the profit takers, its been a day of good consolidation, which after the big rises this share has had in the last week it so needed! It closed, establishing a firm base for tomorrow, so again an upside movement is expected. 20p is my next target to see it push through, and it could happen from the opening, but will the momentum be maintained--we will just have to see.

Xmmortal, I think the price will continue its climb northwards with the occasional retrace like today. What was good about today was that MMs were paying a premium to the bid price all day and the price stayed above 17 pence after that intial fall in the morning. In addition, I wouldn't expect the offer price to drop anymore too, as I believe buyers would be ready to add at 17.5 pence just like today. Furthermore, MMs were charging a premium of 0.5-1 pence for purchases above 25,000 shares.

Hi Sutre, thankyou for your appreciation.

I would think that 50-60 pence would be fair value by Christmas by when my expected news will have come out. In the meantime, I believe 30-35 pence is fair value without any news.

Someone earlier in the week posted if I was looking at any other stocks. I do have about 28 stocks on my radar. However, nothing else excites me as this one, hence I am holding and will continue to hold just these. In addition, the growth potential in the stocks on my radar is nothing compared to the growth potential with this one.

I will be at university tomorrow but I will try and be back for the afternoon.

Have a good evening all.

Best Wishes,

Sue.

Hi Sue
Thanks very, very much for post 607 - I don't know about anyone else but when I realise that you've posted, I pounce immediately and devour - as I've said, I'm pretty new to all this, have lost money getting in too late or on ramped stock that's crashed and altho it's always stated, "don't invest money you can't afford to lose", I don't think there are many who could put their hand up and say "yeh! course I can afford to lose this money!"
so my anxiety definitely went up a little this morning at seeing what turned out to be a slight depression in the price - virtually no treeshakes though - so once again, thank you for all your INFORMED views/opinions/beliefs - I'm sure I speak for a lot of people on this particular thread who feel reassured at your consistent presence but at the same time, hold themselves responsible for their own decisions. Sorry, hope I'm not embarrassing you, but really, this has been to date an exciting and profitable company to invest in and I hope we will all be winners with this one
Regards
Anna

I think the calmness is caused by the bank holiday in USA, talk is possibly many traders would take a day of so we have a prolong period of no lead, no DOW, NO S&P, DAX there are rumours that UK stock will suffer.

US stops trading on Thursday is fine. But that they take Friday off I would not think so. This is a serious money making business, just after the positive US news update and USA is not like Europe. Sunshine everyday, great scenario, mountain, desert or beach they have it all ... home traders need not to flight hours for holiday.

Similar the wait before the tax raise, many has misintepreted and sold ... So it could be a day for good bargain again
