What do Ronald Koeman and the Titanic have in common?
Neither should have left Southampton. :o)

Bit late with that one hils, love it.
Stanley - As long as it's not Moyes, not worried Mickey Mouse would have more of a clue than Koeman. As soon as the dipstick whispered in Lukaku's ear "your better than this join a big club" sort of made my mind up.
Hic, the celebration has begun.

Unsworth to take temporary charge at Everton
Lyndon Lloyd Tuesday 24 October 2017 102 Comments [Jump to last]
David Unsworth will be in the dugout tomorrow evening for Everton's League Cup clash with Chelsea following the sacking of Ronald Koeman.
The Academy Director and Under-23s boss will be joined by his assistant John Ebbrell in charge of first-team affairs and it is being reported that he is eyeing a number of matches in which to press his claims to succeed Koeman on a permanent basis.
The Dutchman was dismissed as the Blues' manager yesterday on the back of a run of results that had left the club in 18th place in the Premier League and bottom of the Europa League.
Just two wins in the last 13 games in all competitions prompted Everton's major shareholder Farhad Moshiri to fire Koeman just 16 months into a three-year contract and while the search for a viable successor gets underway, Unsworth will act as caretaker manager, most likely until the upcoming international break next month.
Unsworth, who has earned plaudits within the club for stellar work with the U23s, has acted as stand-in for the first team once before, overseeing Everton's 3-0 win over Norwich City in May last year after Roberto Martinez had parted company with the Blues.

A lot is down to Williams and Jagielka; they should be organising the line and they are also senior players - add Baines to that.
EDIT-SPOILER
England U17s in World Cup Final - beat Brazil 3 to 1.

Spurs 2 Spammers 3. Bilic in!
A pretty good result by Everton at Chelsea as well, I notice that Keane was dropped to the bench.
Burnley need a back up defender for our central defence and wonder if he wants back... 3 million say? 😃

Stan - a good result ?????
NO WAY - they lost
Now had you said that they performed well, then I'd agree with you (without doubt in the second half) - as they created a number of good chances and but for the keeper and the bar they could have had a couple more.

I disagree considering Everton's previous results this season, that "only" losing 2-1 away to your lot was a relatively better result.
Edit: crossed with CC's post.

It was a good result Joe , they are out of the Mickey Mouse cup that no one takes seriously and can now concentrate on more important things.

Toffeeweb a better site Stan. Dyche in my view would be a better choice than Moyes or Allardyce. Expensive mistake Koeman.
