THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Haystack,

The problem that Greece face is that the market clearly couldn't care less whether they stay or go, and Schabes & co know it. If the bubbles can't leverage the fear factor in their negotations, they'll probably have to accept more austerity as you say, which will leave them at odds with a populace that voted them in on their promises, and the long, protracted process will become even longer and more protracted.

Death by a thousand cuts. *Yawn*

The Emblem of the neo-con nasty party:

The leader of UKIP and the Neo-con of the Confidence Trickster party!

Have you ever thought of getting a hobby of some sort Fred , or have you a tortured mind/soul.

Fred1new - 21 May 2015 08:20 - 60314 of 81564

Victim,

Got a hobby which I enjoy.

It seems that it is more of a problem to you than me.

Perhaps, you are feeling victimised!

Poor lamb!

jimmy b - 21 May 2015 08:27 - 60315 of 81564

Fred , every time i click on this thread there is someone telling you to shut up .
At what point do you think you might stop with the pictures and politics and maybe move on to something else .

cynic - 21 May 2015 08:30 - 60316 of 81564

this IS his hobby

VICTIM - 21 May 2015 08:33 - 60317 of 81564

I don't feel victimised , I do feel for certain members of our society who are left to look after themselves , protect themselves from increasing threats . Whilst certain OK , foreign types can dump themselves and expect all the benefits our Nation has built up over the decades just because they can . Maybe that's too simply put for some . But I DON'T BLOODY HARP ON ABOUT DAY AFTER DAY .

Fred1new - 21 May 2015 08:52 - 60318 of 81564

Victim,

But you doing what you object to me doing.

To some it would suggest to some your are attempting to bully.

Also, you do appear to self centre and insular.

Perhaps, the cartoons are pricking your conscience.

Some of your contributions amuse me, but I have not objection to
you posting them even if I find them offensive.

Perhaps, you feel omniscient and only your opinions count!

VICTIM - 21 May 2015 08:55 - 60319 of 81564

What a load of utter crap .

Fred1new - 21 May 2015 09:04 - 60320 of 81564

Are you certain?

VICTIM - 21 May 2015 09:12 - 60321 of 81564

Is this an attempt at Brain washing eh . Coming from someone who supposedly supports Labour . The party who had Blair ( I'd shoot ) Brown ( I'd shoot ) and the last joker ( I'd probably want to shoot in the next few months if they'd won.) It ain't going to work on me Freddie boy .

Fred1new - 21 May 2015 09:31 - 60322 of 81564

Victim.

It seems to me that you believe in the values of the products of the Mail, Telegraph and the right winged Goebbels like propaganda sheets.

By the way, I am not an aficionado of any political party and many who know my views see me as a pragmatic moderate, with a dislike of political extremism.

But views vary from the position they view me from.

VICTIM - 21 May 2015 09:36 - 60323 of 81564

I don't need a newspaper to tell me what a fecking idiot looks like .

cynic - 21 May 2015 09:37 - 60324 of 81564

fred supports no party for he refuses to vote - as is his democratic right

however, apart from fred's occasional acolyte stan, i don't think he has any other supporters
it's not that some of the underlying points he wishes to raise do not have some merit, but fred is incapable of making an objective utterance, let alone anything half-way constructive, without destroying the whole argument by inserting a rather silly political snipe

as a result, i think few of fred's posts are read in their entirety - well certainly not by me - for they are truly monotonous and predictable

VICTIM - 21 May 2015 09:39 - 60325 of 81564

Anyway that's the third time I've dropped a stitch , can't you leave me to get on with me knitting for gawds sake . Winters coming .

VICTIM - 21 May 2015 09:41 - 60326 of 81564

I've never seen him on Speakers Corner cynic .

Fred1new - 21 May 2015 09:47 - 60327 of 81564

By the way, the con party had 36.9% of the votes in the G.E. i.e. 63% didn't vote for the Con party.

Party %
CON 36.9
LAB 30.4
UKIP 12.6
LD 7.9
SNP 4.7
GRN 3.8

By the way, did the Goebbels like propaganda tell the truth about immigrations?

After 5 years of tory coalition government:

Net migration to UK reaches 318,000

===-=-=-=-=

Mind, ignoring and alienating of the police, control "officers" and other public "servants" is sure to help.

Signs of an incompetent government.
