Ivan Rodgers has resigned from the civil service. Interesting that he acted as principal private secretary to noted remoaners Blair and Clarke before failing spectacularly to get anything from the EU when "fighting for the UK" with Cameron. The arch europhiliac Ken Clarke was interviewed on the Marr program this
morning...With the Brexit vote, he believes the UK is LEAVING the continent
of Europe...Someone should inform the fool that its the EU that we are LEAVING
and NOT the continent, seeing has we are joined to it.

He also said we are LEAVING the most prosperous trading bloc, LOL!, has he
been to Greece to tell them how prosperous they are, or visited Slovakia to see
how the Slovak workers are having to go to more 'prosperous' countries like the
UK to find work that pays them 6/7 times what they earn in Slovakia, or for that
matter most of the other ex-soviet bloc countries..

No of course he hasn't, but it sounds so prosperous in ken clarkes world, and
