I have not checked Shares Mag yet to see if the article is true or not but even if it is its not good news.
Firstly if you read about the Biotec deal they HOPE to reduce the price down to being only 10% more expensive than petroleum based only HOPE and today is far more expensive so there is more HOPE and no fact.
Secondly meetings - is that all - should they not have been doing that much earlier - according to the ramp brigade they did meetings months ago with Walmart - and why trials ? This points to more problems at Asda and why Asda suppliers have only ordered 1 to date.
If this report is true I see they have written something that means nothing but will jump the price up a little for their final comment more important TIME TO TAKE PROFITS so why not write something hype and then tell you people to take profits they can exit at a good price then.
If something is so good why ask people to take profits and exit ? LOL ;-) How about orders totaling 1 when 1000 are in the price already interim loss coming thats good reason to exit and take profits.
1000 machine conversion in the price and seemingly no chance in the short to mid term of getting them means its still as always grossly overvalued.
We are seeing yet more TALK and minimal orders - still only 1.
This rollout - appears nothing more than them going over to have meetings and trying to get some machines on trial - nothing more. All equate to more cost to SE0 - nothing on the revenue side. Someone been twisting the meaning of rollout - its not orders rollout its meeting and trial rollout - thats all.
The last remarks are always the most important in these articles and that inclines people to get out now and take their profits.
DYOR.

You have to notice the trend - EVO changed from BUY down to ADD recently. Now Shares Mag is supposedly changing from BUY to TAKE PROFITS.
SE0 was supposed to have big orders by now and well into supplying Walmart if you go back a few months to the articles - what is happening is a mass slow down and no orders - yet more trials - nothing of substance - that is why the outlook is not so hot now and downgrades are happening.

Some really good advice from II - DYOR! His is so blatantly warped. During a launch period you work with the major clients to prove the effectiveness of your solution. SEO have done this with ASDA suppliers and are now going to do so with Wal-Mart suppliers. Like our friend Thomas they want to see it and touch it and prove it for themselves - quite reasonable. Chance of failure - negligible. level of ii's foolhardiness - absolute!

Share Mag wrote, AND TRIALS ALREADY BOOKED. as far as i know Share Mag are the only one to have said this, SEO said that they are going to have meetings with WAL MART , no mention of trails already booked [ meetings 1st then trials booked ] if trials are about to take place with the bigist retailer in the world why no RNS, this must be classed as price sensitive info, or have i miss read the RNS.

Tanker, don't be such a bloody plonker. SEO doesn't need blind ramping - that's a cert.

aldwickk, shares have done this before. they mentioned talks with walmart before seo did and it looks like they have pre-empted seo again. in a business wire release seo did that they were getting ready to pitch to walmart as well as other american supermarkets. that's the only news so far on that score. going off the last rns, (i think), seo pretty much said nothing would happen until the third trial was completed.

Hi All,
No 'rollout' in USA until the 3rd trial is complete, is what the last RNS said, so that does not mean 'no talks' or 'no trials', Stanelco were already in 'talks' with the 6 biggest USA retailers, according to the business wire release, and so maybe Shares Mag are right, and 'commercial trials' similar to the recent/current ASDA ones will be a requirement of USA retailers other than Wal-Mart, because ASDA have already done the commercial trials for Wal-Mart, but as part of 'due diligence', the other retailers must see the results of their own commercial trials.
Cheers,

level2 now showing 5 v 5 at 23/23.75. is there some significance to this as it looks curious to me?

the 5 on the bid is probably the important part, it means that they want some stock. If they don't get any, then one will break ranks and push up the price.

Hi All,
Any guesses for the closing price ?
Will USA give the S.P a big boost later ?
A mid of 24p or more ?
Cheers,

Hi All,
I was asked on another BB about the 27,000 machines I have been quoting, and this is my reply, hopefully it will answer questions here too :)
The statement by Howard is interpreted in two different ways, the 27,000 he stated, and 'about half of the 50,000 MAP machines in USA and Europe', and the price is quoted as $55,000 :-
------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------
Stanelco will charge retailers about $55,000 (55,000) per machine a year for use of the technology. There are about 50,000 sealing machines in the UK, North America and Europe currently using the MAP method.
The company hopes to get its technology on about half of those machines over the next three years, White said. The company will target the UK and North American markets before moving into Europe. MAP is a growth market in the supermarket category, he said.

------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------
You get Frog Pack, Cradlewrap Aquasol,Adept Polymers and Starpol, Solutape,.... and Wal-mart for nothing. Not to mention that the market everyone is referring to is just Europe and N America. The world's second largest market lies in Japan - not yet mentioned nor is any of the packaging requirement in Taiwan, S.Korea, Australia N/Z, S.Africa, Brazil, etc etc..........None of these are yet factored in - probably because it is unrealistic to expect their requirements to be capable of being addressed for at least 2/3 years whilst SEO attain their stated objective to fit 27,000 machines and much less than half of the global market by then.

Also from Buisiness Wire 17th May 2005
Stanelco is already moving ahead to market GREENSEAL to leading U.S. grocers and retailers, including Wal-Mart, Albertson's, Midwestern retailing giant Kroger's, California-based Von's, Ralph's and Safeway, and others. Stanelco has opened a North American office in Orlando, Fla., to coordinate international sales and implementation efforts for Stanelco
