Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?
If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?
Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?
What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Yes we know that but it still makes me feel uneasy when I here the term "Peace Envoy" and "Tory Blair" in the same sentence.

Hays,
Was that a deliberate mistake "to spend his time staining in luxury hotels". If not some of your mistakes are better than others.
Even though you are probably a right winged "tory" and bull headed I agree with your sentiment and and believe that the majority of the "provocation" is due to the settlements being wrong initially and not held to by the various Israeli administrations.
The present Israeli government are criminal in their actions as far as the rights of non-jews are concerned.
Somebody wrote to me to say was goes round, comes around and this will be the ultimate response to disproportionate murder which is being carried out in the name of the Israeli people.
If I had my home stolen, my olive groves ploughed up and my land and rights taken away form me, I would be prepared to fight to regain them, in any way I thought possible to get them back.
Preferably, through the International courts, but if they are rigged against me with any available weapon, to draw attention to the abuses that I had been and still are subjected to.

Stan,
Tory Blair ummmh.
Tony B.Liar is more appropriate.
But do try and keep out of trouble while I am in Paris.
Leave the little tinker alone, he can't help himself.

Fred,
Hope your having a good time in France.
Still waiting for a reply to my question as far as Tanks is concerned, think he needs to take up a hobby of some kind rather then continually coming on here and ranting away at people.
As far as Blair is concerned I expect he will get just deserts one day.

Tanker,
Accept that killing is wrong.
At least 18 people were killed since yesterday. The killing is fundamentally wrong and esclates the violance.
What would you do if you were linked to one of the 18? Just think a bit!!

I've just sent the Israeli embassy an email - I think I've come up with a practical idea that will stop the rockets and mortar fire raining down on Israel, thereby removing any need for further bloodshed.
Will let you know what they say.

The cause of the escalation is down to Israel. On Monday/Tuesday Gaza and Israel were attempting to arrange a ceasefire. The ceasefire agreement document had been handed to Gaza and in particular it was given to the Hamas person who was assassinated. He drove away from the handover and was killed by Israel. No wonder Hamas are annoyed and are now firing at Tel Aviv.

if i have read correctly, i note that a ceasefire has now been agreed, short-lived as that will probably be .... the interesting bit was that egypt is going in as peacemaker, which as a country now run by MB, is slightly curious .... of course, it is quite likely that egypt has been chosen to front this by the muslim league (pathetic bunch that they are), as egypt will be acceptable to hamas and israel still has a lingering rapport with that country

Do you know that most of Israel's leaders were once 'terrorists' killing the British in Palestine just after the war. Terrorists make the transition to freedom fighters once they achieve their goals. The Israelis are the terrorists as they are fighting in another people's land.

Unfortunately, fom past experience trusting some of the Israeli administrations is almost impossible for the Palestinians.
Their behaviour seems to be relying on primitive responses and greed at the expense of those who they see as inferior.
That is developing into a two way street.

cynic,
I agree that Egypt is somehow accepted by both parties and may come up with a ceasefire.
The problem is that so far 21 people were killed (18 Palestinians and 3 Israelis) and many more injured some of whom are disabled. The people cannot easily forget the loss of their loved ones and will push their government to revenge.
I do not see any interest in peace over there, I think the situation will most likely escalate.
US has not said anything serious about the situation. I don't know why!
