THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Tanker

What rubbish you spout and what a trashy, tabloid, headline-grabbing, scare-mongering article you've just read.

The company's employee's hands look clean enough to me and, from what I can read of it, there's not too much wrong with the company's handwashing rules too.

eg. If an employee touches their face, then they should stop work and go and re-wash their hands.

There is also an explanation how one of the reasons for the 'bare hands' approach, is that employees can more easily tell if their hands are contaminated and should be re-washed.

Half of the NHS employees are from outside the UK too, you idiot!

TANKER - 08 Jun 2015 13:16 - 60672 of 81564

ex, preparing food should not be mauled by unprotected hands its dirty
if you are happy to eat them then that's up to you I will not .
remember this these people are at the conveyor for hours
and cross contamination .the pictures make me feel sick

TANKER - 08 Jun 2015 13:17 - 60673 of 81564

the pictures are their for all to see and I know what most people will think and do

cynic - 08 Jun 2015 13:23 - 60674 of 81564

chefs in all restaurants also work with bare hands, as of course do we all in our own kitchens

TANKER - 08 Jun 2015 13:28 - 60675 of 81564

cynic , yes but being a chef would give them common sense and educated people
not low paid people who are only their for the money . chefs are professionals

TANKER - 08 Jun 2015 13:31 - 60676 of 81564

cynic and have water to wash their are no taps on the pictures in the mail they must have to wait for the bell to go to leave their post

MaxK - 08 Jun 2015 14:13 - 60677 of 81564

Fancy a sarnie?

Check out the ungloved scabby hands.

so if your article relates to a factory in this country, which i assume it is, then do you suppose that EHO have not or even never visited?

Fred1new - 08 Jun 2015 14:29 - 60679 of 81564

I suggest that the some on this a little experiment.

Have a swab taken of hands.

Wash hands in suitable available disinfectant eg. soap and water, bleach (diluted) etc.

After 20 mins have another swab taken.

Repeat after 1 hour.

Compare bacterial counts and also elicit which are the bacterial contaminates before the various tests.

Also, check the various bacterial counts and types of bacteria on the cheeses you may eat.

cynic - 08 Jun 2015 14:33 - 60680 of 81564

there's good bacteria and bad :-)

TANKER - 08 Jun 2015 14:41 - 60681 of 81564

cynic. just imaging which is fact the dole or agency send any one no checks .
they could have any decease .

I doubt very much that these workers are checked
yes just look at some of those hands mauling the food

not for me and I think a lot more will never touch them again it makes myself feel sick at the thought of eating one

Fred1new - 08 Jun 2015 14:51 - 60682 of 81564

I find it fascinating how the EU is lambasted for bureaucracy and interference in privacy lives of UK.

Also, complaints against costs of the above.

However, many of the little englanders, who are complaining about the above, are in favour of setting up little thiefdoms until "local" new layer of Mafia and local mayors.

The latter will probably be paid more than MPs.

Also, they seem happy to have another layer of bureaucracy costs (jobs for the boys) and in devolvement. (Passage of divide and rule.)

The "man of the people" must be referring to little green men from Mars.

No wonder the Scots want out!

cynic - 08 Jun 2015 14:53 - 60683 of 81564

fred - are you practicing your gaelic prior to moving to glasgow? ..... if not, please may we have the above in english? :-)

Fred1new - 08 Jun 2015 15:01 - 60684 of 81564

I think I have just been listening to a well developed psychopath talking about his successes in Europe.

Mind he is getting ready to cover his --- by putting the responsibility for any decision on the public.

He is an embarrassment to England.

Guess who?

Fred1new - 08 Jun 2015 15:06 - 60685 of 81564

Any move I make from now on will be southwards to France.

The cheeses please me and the wine will sterilise my gut and my passing "happier".

cynic - 08 Jun 2015 15:09 - 60686 of 81564

if you head south, you'll just drown in the bay of biscay if not beforehand!

Fred1new - 08 Jun 2015 15:18 - 60687 of 81564

I learnt to swim!

8-)

Chris Carson - 08 Jun 2015 16:07 - 60688 of 81564

Don't let us keep you Red Fred, want a hand with your luggage?

Fred1new - 08 Jun 2015 16:13 - 60689 of 81564

Manuel.

Listening to your icon is becoming more and more implausible as a liar as Blair was.

Is he back on alcohol pops?

Is the party forgcon-men fragmenting, or disintegrating?

=-=-=-=-=

59 more months to go.

Whoopee!
