How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

England price ridiculously short at 30 needing 240 to win with 6 wickets left off approx 45-50 overs on a 5th day wicket - should be 200+ imo.

Draw looking likely but a wicket or 2 before tea (half hrs time) would change that. Have just used some of my draw green to back Pakistan at 5.1
England price completely ridiculous - would have to score at over 7 an over to win from here but cant lay anymore as i am maxed out Red on England since earlier this am

Should have been up early this morning. Never mind, a few trades left to be taken in the closing hours of the Test. Overnight Pakistan back bet has done well but I wish I had automated it for a better result. Now on the draw, looking as though England are trying very hard for the draw so may just let the bet run with about 40 overs to go.

Edward
if no wickets in the next 25 mins before tea then the draw price will be 1.1 or thereabouts - been a cracking day to trade!

KP out before tea - greened up my last Pak back and have laid to scalp over tea

Pietersen's wicket was costly for England.
Draw back bet currently flat. Thinking about laying the draw in case Pakistan get another wicket. If they do it should run a mile.

if you mean 22 as in overs - that is the official number but no more than 30 mins play left beacuse of the light - be lucky to get 5 more in if a couple of wickets do fall

You are right - they have just said about 21 overs
'that's not going to be possible'!

Took a pure and utter gamble at 1.7s on the draw during the carnage and has paid off handsomely but minus many heartbeats!

Geraint Jones and Giles have played some superb innings for England in recent years bearing in mind they are not really top order batsmen. Good example today.

Betfair seems to be dragging their heels in settling on the cricket!
