:)

god you're a bore, cynic.. like a broken record with the same old 'bank your profits' mantra.. you're telling the thread things that we all know..like a concerned uncle..why don't you instead do some detailed research on the company or a relevant article..same old message from prices a lot lower than what we see now..

not posting again on here if this is all in learn..

cynic - 28 Jan 2007 18:05 - 609 of 3050

why should i research? ...... i care very little what the CEO had for breakfast .... my only interest is whether (i think) a share is going to move up or down .... if research is your thing, then carry on ..... if you want to run profits, or losses for that matter, then carry on ..... if you wish to disappear into outer space, then be my guest ..... in this instance, i was merely commenting on something money+ wrote on SEO.

Morning all - up again! SOLA Bid: 559.5p Offer: 560p Change: 5.5

cynic - 29 Jan 2007 16:06 - 611 of 3050

I have succumbed ..... lol!! ...... but leaving room should there be some (in)decent profit taking

soul traders - 30 Jan 2007 08:16 - 612 of 3050

Good morning Cynic, looks like you're on the right side again so far today:

SOLA Bid: 573p Offer: 579.5p Change: 7

cynic - 30 Jan 2007 08:22 - 613 of 3050

may have had to pay more than my earlier exit price, but who cares? ...... was happy to bank the profit and put the money into gold, which yielded well too .... sold that to get back in here, so certainly no blood spilt and probably slightly better than that if i could be bothered to look at the nett results of each.

soul traders - 30 Jan 2007 08:27 - 614 of 3050

Nice one. Unfortunately I have no time to think about doing anything remotely clever right now, as I am in the throes of planning a move back from Frankfurt to the UK. However, I may have found someone who's willing to pay me enough for my furniture to cover the costs of moving the rest of my stuff back to Bournemouth, so I think that deserves a double caramel caffe latte! :o)

Best of luck with SOLA. I'm now as near as dammit on a four-bagger on my leftover free float, so am fairly chuffed about that too.

cynic - 30 Jan 2007 08:30 - 615 of 3050

now you know what Mummy said; "Steady on the caffeine intake. You know it gets you overexcited!"

soul traders - 30 Jan 2007 08:36 - 616 of 3050

It's the orange squash that really gets me climbing the walls ;o)

Pass the Ritalin, I feel my ADHD coming on . . . .

cynic - 30 Jan 2007 08:50 - 617 of 3050

orange squash should be OK so long as you buy with low sugar content ..... at least aspartin colourant has now been abandoned!

soul traders - 30 Jan 2007 08:53 - 618 of 3050

I have my channels for getting the stuff that's made the old-fashioned way ;o)

cynic - 30 Jan 2007 16:29 - 619 of 3050

i fear i am getting as greedy as the rest of you ...... have just added, and though that is already in the money (just!), am not entirely convinced it was the right thing to do ...... still, can always vent any disappointment or even (self)anger by tipping soul* and his wheelchair off the promendae in B'mouth!

cynic - 31 Jan 2007 11:11 - 620 of 3050

below is a rather useless chart, but posted as it has a bit more detail than the one on header ...... will be interesting to see if sp can hold abopve the psychological 600 level, though would have liked to have seen better volume.

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=SOLA&S

red = 25 dma
green = 50 dma

soul traders - 31 Jan 2007 11:16 - 621 of 3050

It's good psychology to have someone else to blame, Cynic :o)

fortitude18 - 31 Jan 2007 11:22 - 622 of 3050

i hear from sources that new supply agreements have been agreed which extend well after 2010 and provide for upfront payments, many more MW's and possible customer investment in SOLA capacity.

With Merrill Lynch understating 2007 EPS then we can see at least one broker upgrade following release of the above news..

the 'other site' seems duly complacent about such matters but thats what the 'other site' is like I suppose..although this site isn't much bloody better

cynic - 31 Jan 2007 11:37 - 623 of 3050

without (necessarily!) intending to be disparaging, "sources" are often seriously unreliable and self-serving - no surprise there! ...... i think someone has posted that a further trading update is due within the next couple of weeks ..... does that have any provable foundation? ..... if so, then that is what is likely to provide the impetus or disappointment.

cynic - 01 Feb 2007 10:52 - 624 of 3050

you guys have all gone very quiet suddenly .... lol!
surely not starting to wonder if we have all been too greedy?
time will tell

actually, according to the MAM trade anlaysis, buys and sells look balanced with no large trades in either direction.

HARRYCAT - 01 Feb 2007 11:44 - 625 of 3050

It's becoming a little trickier to predict the range of the bounces now.
Profit taking today, probably, plus possible resistance at the 600p level.
Will be happy to get back in again sub 550p.

cynic - 01 Feb 2007 11:52 - 626 of 3050

quite sharply rising 25 dma is now sat on 480 which level looks to be a support in its own right.
