Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

JB, It good that you are becoming as omniscient as Manuel.
Cameron and his motley crew are behaving like stunted school boys and their methods of negotiation belong to the days of the RAJ.
You don't pick faults with or try to bludgeon those whose help you need, before you start negotiations.
Typical behaviour of adolescents, football hooligans or UKIP and BNP.

JB.
You are correct!
I have only a few years left and I think I prefer to concentrate on educating my grandchildren than try to illuminate the offspring of more doubtful genesis.
8-)
But, if you read back a few years I advocated strengthening and democratising of the UN with "power" and "tools" to police situations such as are happening in ME.
As per usual the village idiot Manuel pooh-poohed the idea.
The UK and Europe are not islands unto themselves and do not have the power to resolve many of the situations the world is meandering into.
If there is the will then the way may be found!

so much of what you report as fact is in fact not to be borne out by fact that in fact i can't be bothered to delve deeper to discover what fact is indeed fact rather than fact manipulated to fit someone's agenda

I like most folk on here (I hope) am vilified by what has been allowed to happen in Yorkshire and other regions of the UK. The politically correct brigade have over the years, been able to silence or at least suppress the morally correct brigade, by labelling them as racists. IMO of course

its on all the tv news you just want to turn a blind eye and close your ears
you can not be a father or not a real one who cares about children
what has been happening is a national disgrace and must be addressed with punishment

like i said MrT, fact manipulated to fit someone's agenda ...... something you have actually done in your own "reporting"
this is what prof jay actually wrote in reference to rotherham
"No-one knows the true scale of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham over the years. Our conservative estimate is that approximately 1,400 children were sexually exploited over the full inquiry period, from 1997 to 2013."
your own "reporting" has a strong racist slant and almost implies that the said 1400 children were raped and exclusively by gangs of asians

Network Rail upgrade delayed by government
Mark Carne, Network Rail CEO: "A lot of those targets just aren't achievable"
The government says it will delay or cut back a number of modernisation projects planned for Network Rail.
Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin says rising costs and missed targets make the £38.5bn plan untenable.
He blamed Network Rail, saying it should have foreseen the improvements would cost more and take longer.

t reads like a parody, but this is a genuine taxpayer-funded report commissioned by the EU statistics agency Eurostat, released today:
The shock findings include the remarkable claim that:
“A clear seasonal pattern on tourism activity of residents of the European Union can be observed. The summer season (June-September) accounts for more than half (51.9%) of the total number of tourism nights spent by EU residents during the whole year”
People tend to go on holiday in the summer, you say? Surely not.
There’s more. The in-depth report reveals this incredible statistic:
“August is the leading month of departure for residents of a narrow majority of EU Member States, just ahead of July”
You mean most people go on holiday in the hottest month?
