THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

MrT - you misinterpret ..... most posters on this bb don't pay the slightest attention to 99% of your ravings any more than they do to fred's

Fred1new - 25 Jun 2015 12:49 - 60970 of 81564

And Mr T. remember Manuel is writing from the lunatic asylum!

Fred1new - 25 Jun 2015 13:07 - 60971 of 81564

JB.

You are correct!

I have only a few years left and I think I prefer to concentrate on educating my grandchildren than try to illuminate the offspring of more doubtful genesis.

8-)

But, if you read back a few years I advocated strengthening and democratising of the UN with "power" and "tools" to police situations such as are happening in ME.

As per usual the village idiot Manuel pooh-poohed the idea.

The UK and Europe are not islands unto themselves and do not have the power to resolve many of the situations the world is meandering into.

If there is the will then the way may be found!

TANKER - 25 Jun 2015 14:00 - 60972 of 81564

cynic you mean it does not upset you .you think it is normal in your life
that is what you are saying its ok to rape children

cynic - 25 Jun 2015 14:06 - 60973 of 81564

so much of what you report as fact is in fact not to be borne out by fact that in fact i can't be bothered to delve deeper to discover what fact is indeed fact rather than fact manipulated to fit someone's agenda

2517GEORGE - 25 Jun 2015 14:13 - 60974 of 81564

I like most folk on here (I hope) am vilified by what has been allowed to happen in Yorkshire and other regions of the UK. The politically correct brigade have over the years, been able to silence or at least suppress the morally correct brigade, by labelling them as racists. IMO of course
2517

TANKER - 25 Jun 2015 14:13 - 60975 of 81564

its on all the tv news you just want to turn a blind eye and close your ears
you can not be a father or not a real one who cares about children
what has been happening is a national disgrace and must be addressed with punishment

TANKER - 25 Jun 2015 14:16 - 60976 of 81564

if these scum have any money or businesses they should be taken away
and given to childrens charity and their homes .the scum should pay for their filthy perverted acts

cynic - 25 Jun 2015 14:41 - 60977 of 81564

like i said MrT, fact manipulated to fit someone's agenda ...... something you have actually done in your own "reporting"

this is what prof jay actually wrote in reference to rotherham
"No-one knows the true scale of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham over the years. Our conservative estimate is that approximately 1,400 children were sexually exploited over the full inquiry period, from 1997 to 2013."

your own "reporting" has a strong racist slant and almost implies that the said 1400 children were raped and exclusively by gangs of asians

TANKER - 25 Jun 2015 14:45 - 60978 of 81564

cynic I post facts not racist slants if you do not believe or like facts then you need to
look closer to your views
I like facts and the tv news and papers and police have not made the news up

cynic - 25 Jun 2015 14:52 - 60979 of 81564

so you didn't like what i c+p'd from bbc news dated 26/8/14 (note the date)?
well that's a shame
no doubt you think i have manipulated something

=========

frankly, 10 months further on, i am currently much more interested in trying to read the direction of DOW!

Fred1new - 25 Jun 2015 14:55 - 60980 of 81564

Manuel,

You know you should never trust a conservative estimate.

The opinion is unlikely to have relationship to reality!

cynic - 25 Jun 2015 14:57 - 60981 of 81564

perhaps i should have quoted the 14,000 (you read that right!) which was headlined on another report of same

Network Rail upgrade delayed by government

Mark Carne, Network Rail CEO: "A lot of those targets just aren't achievable"
The government says it will delay or cut back a number of modernisation projects planned for Network Rail.
Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin says rising costs and missed targets make the £38.5bn plan untenable.
He blamed Network Rail, saying it should have foreseen the improvements would cost more and take longer.

Another tory pre-election lie hits the Fan.

The u-turns are commencing as Dodgy Dave retreats from Europe! LOL

Fred1new - 25 Jun 2015 15:05 - 60983 of 81564

By the Way, is Cameron hiding away in Europe from his own party in the UK or his own failures?

Lies, lies, lies!

t reads like a parody, but this is a genuine taxpayer-funded report commissioned by the EU statistics agency Eurostat, released today:

The shock findings include the remarkable claim that:

“A clear seasonal pattern on tourism activity of residents of the European Union can be observed. The summer season (June-September) accounts for more than half (51.9%) of the total number of tourism nights spent by EU residents during the whole year”

People tend to go on holiday in the summer, you say? Surely not.

There’s more. The in-depth report reveals this incredible statistic:

“August is the leading month of departure for residents of a narrow majority of EU Member States, just ahead of July”

You mean most people go on holiday in the hottest month?

Fred1new - 25 Jun 2015 17:35 - 60986 of 81564

Especially for skiing!
