THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Hopefully, they will be told tomorrow that the deal is exactly the same. In other words, they have just wasted their time

Haystack - 05 Jul 2015 21:01 - 61268 of 81564

How reliable is the Greek Ministry of the Interior at running elections?

MaxK - 05 Jul 2015 21:03 - 61269 of 81564

They wont, cos the deal has changed.

Now Merkel has a problem, the Greeks have had a vote, and the vote result was to tell the bankers feck off.

In other words, the greeks are probably fecked which ever way it goes, but at least they have hope now.

The Greek government has no mandate to do anything. It's a con. Why not have a referendum on whether the EU should give £1m to all Greeks or a referendum on whether the Earth is flat or if 1+1=4?

IG Special Sunday Futures trading suggests FTSE100 to open -2% tomorrow at 6460 in light of Greek exit polls and likely No/Oxi vote

cynic - 05 Jul 2015 21:34 - 61272 of 81564

Remember the Neo-fascist tory government was voted in on approximately 33% of the UK vote.

Also, remember dynasties come and go.

The Greeks have made their choice....but they still now talk about more deals with europe !?...what start again renegotiating ?.....please........they have just turned down the possibility of remaining within the euro !.....it's nuts....completely bonkers....I don't think that the Greek population fully understand what being part of the eurozone means at all.....shambles is to follow now.....

Haystack - 06 Jul 2015 09:44 - 61286 of 81564

The Greek finance minister has resigned because Eurozone ministers don't want him at meetings. He said, "I shall wear the creditors' loathing with pride".
