I will hold onto the miners to see if we can bounce from the Gap and perhaps plot a 'Triangle' ...

Sahara - options could prove a sore point (come Dec), or possibly next time I see him :o)

If you recollect when my son discussed silver, as he left, I said (completely off the top of my head, with absolutely.... no info or figures...just plucked out the air as ..an option example, in effect)

oh - you could probably go the option route, pick up a Dec option to buy say 20,000 Dec silver contracts @ $27 for £3/400
- & if silver hit $30
- you would probably make around $60,000 ish.
- the words 60,000 made his eyes light up
- but, he has never bought a share in his life, and completes on his 1st house shortly
- so I thought he would have enough on his plate etc & and not even a few hundred pounds to play with.

The above straight option is about my limit of understanding options, and in hindsight
- I must pluck some more abstract figures out the air in future......as
- got a text from him tonight
"bought 20,000 dec $27 silver for.....£380....fingers crossed for Dec"
(nearly fell off my chair at plucking figures out the air, actually playing out)
- text back for more detail
- to cut the text exchange story down
- He bought some Soc Gen SY81

Looked them up - and saw "parity 1/10" which was a ???
- I gather it is the ratio of the option....to the underlying actual
- looked that up.......& the option he has is for 1/10th of an oz....not a full oz
(so he doesn't have an option on 20,000 oz ...only 1/10th ie 2,000 oz. So at $30 dollars expiry....a potential $6,000(ish) profit.....not erm...$60,000).

Now do I tell him.....??
(will sleep on it :o)

Mexico was forecast
- to increase... its silver production this year,
- however if present trends continue, total output could...... fall nearly 10% in 2013

the last two latest reports coming from Mexico’s INEGI, we can see that the majority of the declines have come from Zacatecas — the richest silver region in the country.

Retail investor - inflows into equities - really do seem ....
- to gather steam....at market tops
- being led in by the nose....to carry the bag
(when the boyz have offloaded)

The chart above shows the investor psychology cycle of investment behavior overlaid against the S&P 500 index.
- The bar graph in the chart is the 3-month average of net monthly inflows by retail investors into equity based mutual funds.

gazkaz - 07 Aug 2013 02:19 - 617 of 1034

Any hint of what has really been driving up the stockmarket
- such as any correlation
- between the rise in the S & P
- and...the amount of QE pumped in by the FEDy
(indicated by the ....expansion of it's balance sheet :o)

gazkaz - 07 Aug 2013 02:28 - 618 of 1034

But surely the rise.....is (as the talking heads are saying) - the demand flowing into domestic equity mutual funds.

Begs the question, then..... why it went up....the rest of the time
- when as the following chart's - downward spikes ...illustrate

- Funds were heading out the exits.....for around 90%+ of the time

I think I will go with the suggestion in this chart &.....the previous post

- FEDy pumping in the QE.....and pumping.. up...the S & P

Nicely put conclusion** by Embry

And the fact is that the derivatives in the banking system are utterly toxic.

If the so-called economic strength is in fact real, and I don’t believe it is, but if it is real and the U.S. really does begin to ‘taper’ to any large degree, interest rates are going to go up sharply.

This will literally endanger the entire banking system because of the blowups that will begin to take place in the derivatives market which will be related to interest rates.

So the West is playing a really dangerous game here and it’s going to be fascinating to see how this next crisis unfolds.
- We have never seen anything like this in history.
- There are over one quadrillion dollars worth of derivatives out there
- and they are concentrated in the largest banks in the world.

If things become really unsettled and chaotic in the interest rate world,
- I promise you
- there will be massive winners
- and massive losers
(in the derivatives game).

**But the bottom line is.... the losers...... won’t be able to pay,

- so the winners..... can’t win.

Snurkle - that Titanic/Gold youT - is excellent.

gazkaz - 07 Aug 2013 08:48 - 623 of 1034

Snurkle nice to see it made it on to the BBC.
- still think they ought to say.....silver enhances antibiotics performance
.....but silver alone....works just as well :o)

(Probably works even better on its own - as there are no antibiotics ...killing off your good bacteria)

Saturn6 - 07 Aug 2013 09:16 - 624 of 1034

Gaz - Oh dear!.... Tricky one.

Also the Options are for SLV and not Silver so the price of Silver may need to be nearer $28.

I looked at the option chain for SLV Covered calls (where there are no options for Dec) but Jan-14 they run out at .12c which equates to around £1600 for 20,000 so not sure how SG do there options?/ I thought they were more into warrants/?

Sahara
- lol - as you have just highlighted - case in point - on my lack of knowledge on trading ...and options
- I thought options and covered warrants were essentially the same thing
(No 1027 now added to my read up on list of things to do...establish difference.. - options -vs- covered warrants:o)

Having slept on it , and your pointing out Soc Gens...warrants aspect
- when I see him on sat ,I will go with.......
- wot ya got there ma boy - is a warrant on 2,000 oz silver at $27
- the final price could be based on the bid/ask/mid price, comex spot, SLV or.....
- the average price per oz that.... solid silver teapots have sold for on ebay in the previous 7 days
- read ma boy, read
- then I... can knock No 1027 off..my to do list :o)
(or words to that effect)

gazkaz - 08 Aug 2013 01:10 - 630 of 1034

sahara
- it's a good while ago but read/listened to both Todd & ..I think it is spelt.. Svali (or similar) interviews.
- TPTB need a word beyond.. evil
- and an adjective beyond..ultimate

Came across this earlier - JFK - I have heard the "standard" version speech
- this version seems much more to the point, perhaps less ambiguity too.

Sahara
- as to the evolution (of mankind)....again suppressed along with everything else
(Tessla, zero point energy, Royal Rifes freqency cures for all disease, abiotic oil, cold fusion etc etc)

Supressed archeology was of interest to me on an in & out basis for about 6m.

- archaelogists hounded out their jobs and black balled for refusing to alter their discoveries that civilisation was many multiple times older than that given for public consumption
- the skulls in the Peruvian museum (that match the shape of the depictions of Egyptian Pharoes) that are not the result of "for public consumption...binding"....as the cranial voume is more than 50% larger than, what I will term ...standard.
- the supressed info on the Great Pyramid at Giza, Shynx & actual original site is staggering
(way and above having us believe - they knocked them up in the copper age using....copper chisels on granite, manpower ropes, logs and mounding up eart banks at the side :o)
- the location of ancient sites on key energy nodes as well as their own & connected sacred geometry is amazing.
- Whilst I had read many of the individual parts, I watched a 3/4 hour documentary that puts it - all together (got to bed about 5am that night :o)

Rhesus neg blood was an interesting wander too.

Plus I think it was a documentary ..Monkey Blood Who Are We...that claims everything on the planet comes from a common gene pool
(essentially all life on the planet is some combination of whats in the bucket of all genes on the planet, and taking a cupful out, the contents of which, determines the species) .
- the kicker of the documentary (if true of course) is.....
- except humans...which have, as I recollect, approx 70 genes.....that are not in the big bucket gene pool...and found in no other species...on earth...except humans.

We really are sold a crock of ba-ba as to our physical origins/history.

gazkaz - 08 Aug 2013 02:15 - 632 of 1034

Depends how you view this
- but someone once said in a late night....meaning of life discussion (tempered by alcohol)

- they believed there was "a they....trying to find what made us...us"

This rang...that distant bell of recollection :o)

MIT scientists have found a way to plant a false memory in rats. They can provoke a fear reaction by manipulating the content of neurons in the rat’s brains.

The rats remember something frightening that never happened.

Well, not exactly, if remembering implies a conscious act.

Pavlov did what the MIT scientists did. He used dogs. He got them to drool when he rang a bell signaling it was feeding time, even though there was no food. The dogs “remembered” times when the bell accompanied food.

Conditioned reflex.

But there is something conditioned reflex doesn’t cover. The act of remembering. The knowledge that you are remembering.

Why is this important? Because we’re talking about being conscious, being aware, which, the last time I looked, has something to do with being alive as a human.

Life as conditioned reflex is about machines.

What Pavlov did, what the MIT scientists did, is, on another level, all about a propaganda operation aimed at convincing the masses that life is nothing more than conditioned reflex. One program inserted into the mind is just as good as another program. It just depends what the desired behavioral outcome is.

So we’re talking about tyranny over the mind. Fascism.

“We can get you to remember anything.”

No. They can force conditioned reflexes.

(In a similar way, 12 or 16 years of public education can convince a boy or girl that the world is a bunch of slogans and phony ideals that add up to collectivism as the pinnacle of existence. Planting the reflex just takes longer.)

If you grew up in Miami, and one day, while walking down the street, you realized you had a memory of growing up in India, do you seriously think you’d accept that memory?

Having a memory (passive) and remembering (active) are two vastly different things, if you’re not a machine.

The amount of force (torture) it would take to erase that difference is enormous.

So we’re back in MKULTRA territory. Wholesale conditioning. Coercion. Disorienting drugs. That’s what the famed CIA program was all about.

That’s what it takes to blot out one past and insert another, just for a few hours.

The conscious act of remembering is more than just brain activity. Consciousness is not a function or property of the brain. This isn’t woo-woo stuff. It’s as real as you sitting there reading this, the room you’re in, the light in the room.

Unless someone can talk you out of knowing that. Unless the tidal wave of propaganda about the brain as the center of all knowing can convince you to believe you’re nothing more than brain processes.

Unless you believe that all life in all its variety can always be measured.

In which case, we have the incredible situation of a non-material YOU believing you are only material. If you want a cosmic joke, that’s it. If you want to know something about Matrix, there’s a good starting point.

There is nothing about the brain that can give you the knowledge that you UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THE WORDS ON THIS PAGE.

The brain does not possess “the understanding of meaning.”

A machine can process information, but it never understands it. A machine can process information and take action based on instructions, but it can never know what it’s doing.

Revving up the complexity of a machine doesn’t make it evolve into consciousness. That’s a fairy tale sold by technocrats. That’s all they’ve got. They’ve abandoned everything else. They’ve abandoned imagination and creative power and the capacity of the individual to invent new realities of all kinds.

The basis of the American Revolution was supposed to be freedom, but of course, if the brain is the center of all knowing and behavior, the brain—which is simply atoms in motion like all other atoms in the universe—contains no freedom at all.

Therefore, the whole idea of freedom is a preposterous hoax, and people, when they argue and fight for freedom, are terminally deluded. They should just stop what they’re doing and lie down and take it.

Take whatever program is jammed into their brains.

If the morons at MIT had any self-knowledge and courage,
- they’d stop what they were doing.
- They’d shut down the lab.
- They’d stop bothering the rats.

They’d access the open sky of their own imaginations.
- They’d create something.
- They might figure out how to launch a revolution that could take back the freedoms we’ve lost.
- They might become artists.
They’d give their.. materialistic bullshit a rest.

They’d realize
- they’re alive and conscious.
- They’d realize this has nothing to do with their brains.
- They’d realize they’ve been living in a psychotic state,
- believing on the one hand that all the particles that make up the universe have no life in them
- and on the other hand, believing that those same particles, when arranged in something called the brain .....suddenly give rise to everything called life in humans.

It’s a matrix of contradiction, a loop in the labyrinth...... where science lives,
- where science tries to enlist .....everyone else

- in its.... primary illusion.
