Thanks Hilary, not actually buying yet, just think a swing short from here is perhaps a bit risky.

foale - 29 Sep 2006 07:31 - 6135 of 11056

Hilary...do you see further downside, or a lower target , or is it that you just dont yet see signs of a bottom forming, which of course is true.

...and of course its falling as we speak.

Harlosh - 29 Sep 2006 07:32 - 6136 of 11056

I'm short from overnight - still a little way down to go I think.

hilary - 29 Sep 2006 07:41 - 6137 of 11056

D,

Looking at the hourlies, I see it below my moving averages which are still firmly heading down. It could take another day or so till they start to level off. I also see it well below the falling resistance line which has been tested several times this week and rejected each time so is clearly defined. Finally, I see oversold oscillators which doesn't mean much at this stage as they could unwind through a sideways consolidation in the price. I'd at very least like to see my oscillators start heading upwards first.

I guess then, in answer to your question, I don't see signs of a bottom yet.

Morning All

Cable taken a hammering during Asian trading hours.

Seems to be holding at this level but key UK mortgage data later may change well move it one way or another

Edit...the 30-35 level didnt hold for very long!

foale - 29 Sep 2006 08:00 - 6139 of 11056

thanks hilary...useful info.

Harlosh - 29 Sep 2006 08:26 - 6140 of 11056

Out for a useful +74. Think I'll call it a day now.

foale - 29 Sep 2006 09:35 - 6141 of 11056

Well done Harlosh....

Harlosh - 29 Sep 2006 09:35 - 6142 of 11056

I couldn't resist I'm afraid - long from 74.

Thanks foale.

Harlosh - 29 Sep 2006 09:46 - 6143 of 11056

Would like to see a retrace now back towards my entry price before pushing higher again. A double bottom in other words which would give me confidence to add.

Harlosh - 29 Sep 2006 10:15 - 6144 of 11056

Here it comes?

Harlosh - 29 Sep 2006 18:41 - 6145 of 11056

Well the double bottom came although a little later and more drawn out than I expected.

Seymour Clearly - 29 Sep 2006 19:37 - 6146 of 11056

I'm waiting for a bigger double bottom :-)

goforit - 02 Oct 2006 08:25 - 6147 of 11056

morning all, unexpected friend turned up last week hence no trading. Interesting to see what happens in five minutes, looks to me like the bottom is forming, but waiting and watching

SC - try Mcdonalds, I'm sure you'll find one there!

Harlosh - 02 Oct 2006 08:31 - 6148 of 11056

Morning Gfi,

I do like bottoms :-)

goforit - 02 Oct 2006 08:34 - 6149 of 11056

H - Don't we all

hilary - 02 Oct 2006 09:35 - 6150 of 11056

I no nuffin but, if I were a horny little devil that had a few dollars which needed repatriating, I think I'd be looking to do the business today.

hilary - 02 Oct 2006 09:44 - 6151 of 11056

And in future I think I'd get my customers to pay me in good ol' LSD.

:o)

goforit - 02 Oct 2006 10:15 - 6152 of 11056

H

Seymour Clearly - 02 Oct 2006 10:28 - 6153 of 11056
