Morning all,

Missed placing my bet on the Gee Gees due to having to go off for a very exhausting weekend, which I'm don't think I'm going to do again.

I am in need of a full English - but first I'm going off to do a little exercise to really work up a appetite . Anyone care to join me in 10 min (for the breakfast not the exercise!)

vasey - 17 May 2004 11:31 - 6141 of 23498

Almost 11.30 - time to start work on making fresh Pimms, with all the traditional ingredients. I'll put some large glasses in the fridge to chill and leave some fresh prawns marinading in garlic, chilli and a little yoghurt so they just need a couple of minutes under the grill for a quick snack for the girlies when they drop in.....

jj50 - 17 May 2004 11:36 - 6142 of 23498

Vasey - sounds delicious. Shall be in for prawns in half an hour - I can sympathise with the prawns as I feel I have had a grilling myself this morning! Off to do some damage limitation! Hoping the sun will come out again as it has clouded over here and I was hoping to join you all on terrace for that fresh Pimms...... see you later

little woman - 17 May 2004 12:52 - 6143 of 23498

Pimms, excellent idea vasey, and "hot & spicy" prawns, my favourite.

Has anyone tried the ready made up Pimms in a can?

stockbunny - 17 May 2004 14:36 - 6147 of 23498

Afternoon - I see I missed Poochy - damn! Was going to get
him to hide me in one of his cases (I could do with a holiday)
but it seems he filled them all with Bods by the sound of it.

So how's everyone doing today??
I've given up painting for the day - heat is making the paint
go all sticky before it's leaving the roller/brush!! Saves getting another
lot off the ears this evening anyway...

Bought some BHP Billiton this morning - seems it's a 'buy a bargain'
Monday again, like last week, only thing is when are we going to
get to SELL anything?? (lol)
Vasey - pass me some of those wonderful prawns....

Socrates - 17 May 2004 20:05 - 6157 of 23498

Hilary
How nice of you to ask, not the best month I've ever had but I won't bore you with the details. Suffice to say there have been family medical problems.

Sorry for the delayed response but I've been down to the council recycling centre and then on to Tesco for some trolley racing. Also looking for a new(er) car.

I like the idea of Jeffmack with a Dutch cap, very cute!
