Renesola - want to see huge growth ? Look no further !! (SOLA)

whatuwant - 21 Aug 2006 13:28

Read the latest interims.......just make sure that you are sitting down.

now you know what Mummy said; "Steady on the caffeine intake. You know it gets you overexcited!"

soul traders - 30 Jan 2007 08:36 - 616 of 3050

It's the orange squash that really gets me climbing the walls ;o)

Pass the Ritalin, I feel my ADHD coming on . . . .

cynic - 30 Jan 2007 08:50 - 617 of 3050

orange squash should be OK so long as you buy with low sugar content ..... at least aspartin colourant has now been abandoned!

soul traders - 30 Jan 2007 08:53 - 618 of 3050

I have my channels for getting the stuff that's made the old-fashioned way ;o)

cynic - 30 Jan 2007 16:29 - 619 of 3050

i fear i am getting as greedy as the rest of you ...... have just added, and though that is already in the money (just!), am not entirely convinced it was the right thing to do ...... still, can always vent any disappointment or even (self)anger by tipping soul* and his wheelchair off the promendae in B'mouth!

cynic - 31 Jan 2007 11:11 - 620 of 3050

below is a rather useless chart, but posted as it has a bit more detail than the one on header ...... will be interesting to see if sp can hold abopve the psychological 600 level, though would have liked to have seen better volume.

red = 25 dma
green = 50 dma

soul traders - 31 Jan 2007 11:16 - 621 of 3050

It's good psychology to have someone else to blame, Cynic :o)

fortitude18 - 31 Jan 2007 11:22 - 622 of 3050

i hear from sources that new supply agreements have been agreed which extend well after 2010 and provide for upfront payments, many more MW's and possible customer investment in SOLA capacity.

With Merrill Lynch understating 2007 EPS then we can see at least one broker upgrade following release of the above news..

the 'other site' seems duly complacent about such matters but thats what the 'other site' is like I suppose..although this site isn't much bloody better

cynic - 31 Jan 2007 11:37 - 623 of 3050

without (necessarily!) intending to be disparaging, "sources" are often seriously unreliable and self-serving - no surprise there! ...... i think someone has posted that a further trading update is due within the next couple of weeks ..... does that have any provable foundation? ..... if so, then that is what is likely to provide the impetus or disappointment.

cynic - 01 Feb 2007 10:52 - 624 of 3050

you guys have all gone very quiet suddenly .... lol!
surely not starting to wonder if we have all been too greedy?
time will tell

actually, according to the MAM trade anlaysis, buys and sells look balanced with no large trades in either direction.

HARRYCAT - 01 Feb 2007 11:44 - 625 of 3050

It's becoming a little trickier to predict the range of the bounces now.
Profit taking today, probably, plus possible resistance at the 600p level.
Will be happy to get back in again sub 550p.

cynic - 01 Feb 2007 11:52 - 626 of 3050

quite sharply rising 25 dma is now sat on 480 which level looks to be a support in its own right.

cynic - 01 Feb 2007 12:26 - 627 of 3050

God is punishing me for greed .... lol!
serves me right; should have heeded my own advice.
Fortitude has gone strangely quiet ..... wonder why

Darradev - 01 Feb 2007 14:07 - 628 of 3050

Stopped out at 555, but happy to bank the profit. Thanks SOLA. Appreciate all the comments, both from both the 'plus' and the 'neg' perspectives. Now where can I reinvest my ill gotten gains? :-)

cynic - 01 Feb 2007 14:26 - 629 of 3050

if you want to move elsewhere, then look at POG (maybe a bit toppy), SCHE, CW., TAN ....... slightly braver given the surge over the last couple of days would be Dow and bullion

fortitude18 - 01 Feb 2007 15:49 - 630 of 3050

cynic

still here..not sold a single one..with news round the corner on contracts and results you would be mad to do so. Merrill Lynch Asia issued a new report yesterday with suntech and sola as 'buys' and reuters issued a new report last night..been in since august so this volatility is not new to me.

did you, cynic, ever think it would get to 6 by feb06? cos you've been moaning all the way up to that price! of course you didn't.

if this stock isn;t 10 by july i'll eat my hat..broker upgrades will do wonders for SOLA cos I know Merrill have underestimated 07 EPS quite deliberately..clever tactic

see ya

queen - 01 Feb 2007 21:15 - 631 of 3050

Darradev, you could do a lot worse than IIR ;-)

Dil - 01 Feb 2007 22:30 - 632 of 3050

Well done to all who have held , hope it goes from strength to strength for you.

Has EK given up yet GF , must be at least 200p down by now on his position.

As for his mate TW , only good thing I can say about him is that he did have the decency to reply to an email I sent to him a couple of years back ... his tipping is second to none , MMD springs to mind !

goldfinger - 01 Feb 2007 23:20 - 633 of 3050

Hi Dill,

a few pals of mine get together and forward on the tip sheet tips, exchange tit for tat etc.

Heres what Evil said Monday..

"Renesola (SOLA) spiked up on Friday apparently because President Bush gave some vague commitment to renewable energy. I seem to remember that he also pledged to bring peace to Iraq. It does not matter a jot. This is a grotesquely overvalued share and my day will come. I shall report back on Wednesday".

Best of luck to holders.

fortitude18 - 02 Feb 2007 07:39 - 634 of 3050

the share price spiked cos Merrill Lynch issued a new buy note called 'The sun will shine, but pick your spots' highlighting suntech and renesola as top picks offering solid growth prospects. if fatboy thinks he can take on the big US investment funds then let the little fat c*nt have a go. Institutions are now driving the price. Lemmings also speculating that SOLA could even announce a FURTHER expansion in producitve capacity. WIth long term contracts to be announced for output from its announced expansion then id rather be in than out.

EK is a trader not an investor. His only concern is short term profit. In the medium term this stock will be earning 65-70 eps for 07 and 100p eps for 08. bet you can't buy growth like that anywhere else on a forecasted single digit p/e
