Hi Hilary
The Dutch Cap, as worn by Paris Hilton

This_is_me - 17 May 2004 23:01 - 6161 of 23498

lw

It is a bit early to leave for SA for the 2010 world cup and too late to make it for 10 past eight!

dotel - 17 May 2004 23:30 - 6162 of 23498

MM - I might have a hole in my bucket..

just checking

MightyMicro - 17 May 2004 23:55 - 6163 of 23498

dotel: Well, there's plenty more Mumm Napa -- I think I've got six months of club deliveries stacked up in Palo Alto right now, so we'd better get on with cracking a few bottles.

Actually, I usually end up giving most of it away, I seldom get to drink too much of it -- sad admission.

dotel - 18 May 2004 00:05 - 6164 of 23498

Ooooh noo - sad would be if you ended up drinking most of it!

Get cracking then ;)

hilary - 18 May 2004 07:05 - 6165 of 23498

Old Socks,

Sorry to learn of the family medical problems.

Health is all important although I regret that I'm unable to help you in that department. I wish you and Xanthippe well and you know how to get hold of me if there's anything that you think I might be able to help with.

Jeff,

Let me get this right. Are you saying that you've bought a Dutch Cap because you want to look like Paris Hilton?

:o)

little willie - 18 May 2004 10:36 - 6166 of 23498

He'll probably wear it to prevent the masses getting into his favourite watering hole.

Any poor devil from this gaff have their dosh in CCH before this mornings announcement?

stockbunny - 18 May 2004 15:06 - 6167 of 23498

Ah a better day today, generally speaking, bits of glorious BLUE
dotted about here and there with a sprinkling of GREEN and much
much less of that dreadful RED stuff in evidence.....

But enough of the lunch menu and the chef's habits....

A lovely cool glass of pineapple juice please.

CCH? Err no I wasn't 'in' that one and it sounds like that wasn't
a bad thing either!!

zarif - 18 May 2004 16:28 - 6168 of 23498

Afternoon Gang.
Gd give me a nice hot cupps D.

Gd i reckon yours must be the busiest cafe as there is no one on any other BBs.A nice position to be in as whether traders win or lose your cafe has the right remedy. But some like me just come to HIDE.

zarif, self service today no sign of GD, I'm going to make a long cool refreshing drink of simple OJ and ice.
Need a lot more blue yet Bunny but certainly better than the all red days!!

zarif - 18 May 2004 16:42 - 6170 of 23498

Optomistic:
I hope Gd is not "chasing the dragon and Having the Spliff" in the Stock room as usual.
Ps: I heard a rumour that the cafe might be on the "Ramseys Kitchens from hell" on Sunday on ITV at 9.00pm!!!!!

Hello, hello!

optomistic - 18 May 2004 16:49 - 6172 of 23498

He's probably just roaming around as pooches do, he's sure to be in later for his bowl of Bods. Don't know about the Stock room and what goes on in there, perhaps thats the reason for the cafe being so busy late at night :o)

Yes, in keeping with it's "bus" image, RNS from PTG very rare and then two come along at once. Soon there will only be one person on PTG's board.

I fancy some nice cold sherry trifle and a flagon of bucks fizz.

Talking of shares MPH is still going apace.

jeffmack - 18 May 2004 17:57 - 6176 of 23498

Socs
Have they flogged off the expensive Real Estate in Mayfair yet?

Socrates - 18 May 2004 18:39 - 6177 of 23498

Jeff
It was said that it was to be disposed of but I've not seen anything further. I suppose they won't need it since there aren't many directors left to go in it!

Maybe Mr May will move HQ to a Portacabin at Manston! Very low rent if nothing else. (I feel it necessary to have a small LOL at this point).
