Old Socks,
Sorry to learn of the family medical problems.
Health is all important although I regret that I'm unable to help you in that department. I wish you and Xanthippe well and you know how to get hold of me if there's anything that you think I might be able to help with.
Jeff,
Let me get this right. Are you saying that you've bought a Dutch Cap because you want to look like Paris Hilton?
:o)

Ah a better day today, generally speaking, bits of glorious BLUE
dotted about here and there with a sprinkling of GREEN and much
much less of that dreadful RED stuff in evidence.....
But enough of the lunch menu and the chef's habits....
A lovely cool glass of pineapple juice please.
CCH? Err no I wasn't 'in' that one and it sounds like that wasn't
a bad thing either!!

Gd i reckon yours must be the busiest cafe as there is no one on any other BBs.A nice position to be in as whether traders win or lose your cafe has the right remedy. But some like me just come to HIDE.

I hope Gd is not "chasing the dragon and Having the Spliff" in the Stock room as usual.
Ps: I heard a rumour that the cafe might be on the "Ramseys Kitchens from hell" on Sunday on ITV at 9.00pm!!!!!

He's probably just roaming around as pooches do, he's sure to be in later for his bowl of Bods. Don't know about the Stock room and what goes on in there, perhaps thats the reason for the cafe being so busy late at night :o)

Yes, in keeping with it's "bus" image, RNS from PTG very rare and then two come along at once. Soon there will only be one person on PTG's board.
I fancy some nice cold sherry trifle and a flagon of bucks fizz.
Talking of shares MPH is still going apace.

Jeff
It was said that it was to be disposed of but I've not seen anything further. I suppose they won't need it since there aren't many directors left to go in it!
Maybe Mr May will move HQ to a Portacabin at Manston! Very low rent if nothing else. (I feel it necessary to have a small LOL at this point).

Early doors...bucks fizz sounds good, Socks.
Just brought up a bottle of Clos du Val (Auxey Duresses, premier cru) for later...someone has to do it ;)

I believe that was the plan until they closed the restaurant. Nearest chippie was miles away.

jeffmack I've never been to Manston is it as bad as you paint.
I had a wife once who flew on a Dakota to Spain, that was a long time ago so they must be good stayers :o))

It does sound nice, is it fizzy, I like fizzy.
Opto
Manston is a lovely place, wide open and you can see the sea from a number of different places. Can be darned cold in winter, though. I was there for a few weeks with the RAF (in 1970, but don't tell anyone). That wife of yours, she should have flown IN the Dakota, much more comfortable.

I can't stand Burgundy, but I might just fancy it with a couple of spoons of sugar and blast from one of those old Sodastreams. Might do a bit with some in the sherry trifle too.
