Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

hilary - 27 Jan 2009 13:51 - 618 of 6906

Blimey Fred. If Gaza were a stock, you'd be able to ramp the price double in a fortnight.

:o)

If I was so lucky!!

Gausie - 27 Jan 2009 14:12 - 620 of 6906

Fred - you forgot to plug dec.

It's important to raise money for these gallant heroes who fought to the very last human shield.

Fred1new - 27 Jan 2009 14:19 - 621 of 6906

Gausie, I apologise, I am sorry. Especially for you:

Fred, what is wrong with you,
why wont you comment on that video,
surely even you can find it in your heart to admit its not acceptable behaviour?
Or maybe you think it is acceptable behaviour,?

So which one is it Fred, dont go all shy on me now,its not a difficult question
Are you going to condemn the hamas adults actions in that video or not?

Mr Charts, when did you loose the MR title from your screen name,
Fred seems to have picked up a bad habit of now calling you charts,
maybe he thinks it makes him sound a bit more authorative,

Gausie - 27 Jan 2009 22:25 - 625 of 6906

Pressie for you Ruth

maestro - 27 Jan 2009 23:07 - 626 of 6906

bet it was a zionist firm that made it

Gausie - 27 Jan 2009 23:13 - 627 of 6906

Zonist firms always seem to make it. It's part of the conspiracy, maestro.

chocolat - 27 Jan 2009 23:18 - 628 of 6906

Ruth - 28 Jan 2009 08:38 - 629 of 6906

Gausie, thanks;-)
can you find one with a rocket instead of a pen that i can ram up his arse;-)

Notice Fred still hasnt commented on that shocking hamas children video?
cant say im surprised really, its not the first time hes failed to answer on something that blatantly goes against the rose tinted glasses hes become accustomed to wearing.

Bury, head and sand springs to mind

Are Hamas mad? There is a fragile ceasefire in place and they go and blow up an Israeli armoured jeep killing one MCO.
Result-Israel hits back with the predicted results.
It beggars belief that Hamas has caused the Gazan population to be subjected to reprisals for 22 days for blasting over 8000 rockets in to Israel.Hamas has taken an almighty beating but simply cannot resist breaking the ceasefire.

The only conclusion I can draw is that they simply care not about the fate of the own people.Surely they are not that stupid to think Israel will not retaliate-or perhaps they are too clever and putting the propaganda war first.

Fred1new - 28 Jan 2009 10:32 - 631 of 6906

Gausie, Your sense of humour does not amaze me. It is what I am coming to expect from you. Congratulations. I would think it will appeal to the one with the big heart and common sense.

I can see that not all the idiots are outside the Middle East. Perhaps you can offer your obvious talents as arbitrators in the conflict.

People with such wit as yours, will make the job much easier for G. Mitchell.

You parade the problems that the Palestinians are having in any negotiations with Israeli supporters.

I dont think Hamas have claimed responsibility for attack on the Israeli patrol.
It appears to be a breakaway group.
It was stupid, but the Israeli response is in my opinion also stupid as it is disproportionate and murder once again.
It is bullyboy tactics and thuggery once again.

Also it loses any sympathy that Israel had for its previous actions.

It I worth reading the following articles.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/5212870.stm
=======================================

The Israeli army has been accused of using Palestinian civilians as human shields in an operation in northern Gaza.
According to the Israeli human rights group, B'tselem, six civilians including two minors were subjected to the illegal tactic during an incursion into the town of Beit Hanoun last week.

Meanwhile as there are still children dying in Gaza as a consequence of Israeli bombing and shelling. Those with big hearts and commonsense can of course donate.

The Gaza appeal is once again.

Ruth - 28 Jan 2009 10:57 - 632 of 6906

FFS Fred, are you ever going to condemn any of hamas"s actions without trying to divert the blame back to israelis?

So now your judge and jury are you,"it appears to be a breakaway group"
SAYS WHO? YOU ?

The video i posted Fred, you know the one you wont comment on, that shows hamas brainwashing and training their children as young as 5 years old to hate and kill the Israelis, you must be so very proud of yourself Fred for defending the actions of these "terrorists"

As for donations,I can assure you Fred, i wont be dipping my hand in my purse,
from my own thoughts/conclusions, some of that money could end up in Hamas hands, and i personally cant accept that,
While i sympathise with the innocent civilians of Gaza, i couldnt bear the thought of thinking anything i donated might end up in the hands of a terrorist organisation.

porky - 28 Jan 2009 15:16 - 633 of 6906

There is no way I would give money to an organization that grooms young children to become killers. Religion with all it`s interpretations, is once again the root cause of any world conflicts you like to name.
Ban religions and people would soon learn to live and let live.

MightyMicro - 28 Jan 2009 15:32 - 634 of 6906

I should give up on this thread folks. Nothing is going to shift Fred from his fixed position as an apologist for Hamas.

The stuff in the Hamas Charter that he doesn't quite feel he can back in public (like the bit about killing all Jews) he dismisses as "rhetoric". Unfortunately for him, to Hamas it isn't rhetoric, it's their raison d'etre.

Fred is a lost cause.

Fred1new - 28 Jan 2009 15:47 - 635 of 6906

MM, Stand back and at look at the news reels. Listen to the news from other areas of the world. Read what is being reported by the humanitarian organisations.

I have nothing to do with the production of this information, but for me and many others it is pretty damning. Of course it is also critical of what you seem to advocate.

More blood shed.

It will be interesting to read G. Mitchell reports. I think we are in for a more sensible time in the Middle East.

cynic - 28 Jan 2009 15:53 - 636 of 6906

as i have been away in sunny aberdeen for a couple of days, can someone please give me a brief synopsis of what i have been missing.

do i take it that there is some newsreel or other reliable(?) reporting of israeli excesses or similar?

MightyMicro - 28 Jan 2009 15:57 - 637 of 6906

Still won't face up to it Fred, will you? Did you like the bit in the Hamas charter advocating more bloodshed -- in fact, advocating nothing but bloodshed and dismissing all attempts at negotiation?

Don't you dare accuse me of advocating bloodshed.
