THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Re Labour I agree there Chris, with Corbyn taking them so far to the left, they will be in the wilderness for a long time which is not healthy politics, a creditable opposition is always required. Maybe UKIP will fill the void Labour leave. Re David Miliband that is something I alluded to here as well.

A man who saw his new wife for the first time without make up is reportedly SUING her for trauma, after being shocked at her appearance.

The unnamed couple had just got married in Algeria and after spending the night together, the husband woke up to find his wife bare faced.

But rather than admire her natural beauty, instead the man REFUSED to believe the woman was his wife, believing her to be a thief.

Finally realising that this was in fact the woman he loved, the man is now allegedly suing her for fraud and “psychological suffering”.

A source told Emirates 247: “He said he was deceived by her as she used to fill up her face with make up before their marriage.

“He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the make-up off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief.”

The price of the husband’s “suffering” is £13,000.

Aaaaw. Little love.

Obviously, as well as issuing her a writ for this cruel deception, he needs to walk around her at least three times, saying "Thou art an ugly cow and I divorce thee." Job done.

I suppose, that rather than admire her natural beauty, he looked across the bed and quickly cottoned on to the fact she must have been using tons of slap and lippy as a single lass. Neither did he know, realise or remember, that one does not tend to look at the mantle-piece whilst poking the fire.

Nothing was mentioned about taking our her false teeth and putting them in a glass, putting her hearing aid and her glasses on the bedside table and leaning her false leg up against the wall - all before hopping(???) into bed.

Hmmm? Hey! I didn't know, that in Algeria, you can sue your wife for trauma.

Amazing, eh? On t'Internet, you learn something every day; in fact every hour.

Dunno, funny things can happen.

I've woken up with a few dogs that wouldn't have got the time of day if sober.

Do they think the same?

MaxK - 04 Aug 2015 20:18 - 61848 of 81564

We are all in it together for hard working people!

Same type of individuals are gathered around Putin!

Alders,

Tell me please. If you had to choose between an unregulated broker in Cyprus which was probably owned by either Russians or Arabs, and a fully regulated broker in London or Australia, offering government backed segregation of client funds, which would you choose?

aldwickk - 05 Aug 2015 08:29 - 61854 of 81564

Why are they allowed to promote these in the UK , you can't advertise pyramid selling here , in the US they seem to be able to make any claims they like, from get rich quick scam's to cure all types of diseases scam's

Fred1new - 05 Aug 2015 08:38 - 61855 of 81564

It depends on the regulations and regulators.

A recent meeting at No 10?

I have been using Windows 10 for a few days now and it is a big improvement over Win 8. Apart from being more user friendly, it is more stable. I've noticed my laptop runs much quieter.
