If Carlsberg ran an oil company it would probably be IEC

Think of the synergies when in comes to the buying of barrels !!

KEAYDIAN - 16 Jul 2006 11:13 - 63 of 896

Imperial Energy up 42.5p to 892.5p after a positive drilling update from its Siberian wells. IEC has 109-million in its bank following a recent share placing, said that it was on target to produce 25,000 barrels per day by the end of 2008.

niceonecyril - 16 Jul 2006 23:39 - 64 of 896

The latest RNS adds 1700bopd, from a horizontal Well, Maiskaya 394.

With $200m of CASH from a recent placing, NO DEBT and NIL gearing, production and significant Exploration UPSIDE, we continue to view our future with GREAT CONFIDENCE and remain on track to achieve our stated aim of 25000bopd by the end of 2008.
Seems all Blue to me.

Confidant - 30 Aug 2006 13:12 - 67 of 896

Nit quite yet blown yet -- broker out with price target 1100p. Shares fall on what looks to be 2 way business --- could take the seller out ahead of results

niceonecyril - 23 Nov 2006 20:33 - 68 of 896

IEC's SP recovering with the following news.

Up from 650p at my last post, now around 725p.
Big day tomorrow with results of block 80 reveiled, also
rumours of leaving aim and joining the FTSE 250.
Mr Lavine's recently heavy buying on any dips
certainly looks to well founded.

News of further success in Block 74 of 1st explo well, if proven up after testing will add to its not inconsiderable reserve and resources. Expected 2D seismic results any day from Kazkakhstan followed up by 1st explo well. Also early 2007 results of fraccing from explo wells Chag-4 Block 86 and Gluk-5 Block 70 due.
A new reserve update by Degolyer & Macnaughton will along with 2006 final results at the end of March.

molatovkid - 19 Jan 2007 16:34 - 75 of 896

2007 is expected to be a good year for Imperial.....could see some strong price movement methinks

niceonecyril - 23 Jan 2007 15:42 - 76 of 896

Great RNS today, P2 reserves up 41%(93mmbs, Block 80) from 228 to 321mmbs.
Also RNS appointing Merril Lynch joint broker along with Hoare Govett, prior
to a move to the main market in the 1st half of 2007.
This reserve update is extra to the reserve update in March as told in post 74.
This values P2 reserves at just $1.8 a barrel, should see a steady improvement the SP from here?
cyril

niceonecyril - 24 Jan 2007 19:55 - 77 of 896

A rule of thumb for valueing IEC would be 1 for every (P2)barrel of oil to the Market value + about50m cash in hand. 321mmbls(P2)+50m= 371 @ present M/Capital= 369m.
50.76m shares in issue.
So estimates of between 400/500mmbls P2 reserves expected in March, could value the company at somewhere between 8.50p/11,at present 720/726p.
Their will also be the production to take into account, which should be 2000bopd?
And come late summer when the pipelines come on tap, producing up to 10,000bopd

niceonecyril - 01 Feb 2007 19:33 - 78 of 896

Some nice upward movement of late, molatovkid got it right, about 150p
higher since he posted.
Latest news from Bridgewell is an update will be released tomorrow?
Could be an interesting day?

niceonecyril - 02 Feb 2007 08:23 - 79 of 896

looks like just you and me on this one cyril.....you should join the thread over on advfn.....very good it is

niceonecyril - 08 Feb 2007 09:50 - 81 of 896

mola, i read advfn. Theirs a lot of excellent posters with sranmal being the best.
Just like to spread the news, disappointing so little interest as those who invested
when i 1st set up the thread, would have bought below 3. Come the end of the
month a further update on reserves followed by a more comprehensive report
via Final Results should see the SP break through 9. aimho
